Since everyone who's posted in this thread has proven their ability to keep track of things and owns a substantial pile of unwatched BDs/DVDs, you should challenge yourself to actually watch what you bought. 
You've probably skipped over the monthly unwatched pile threads, but I would encourage you to give it a shot--tracking your progress watching/buying on a monthly basis with the goal to work through those yet-to-see discs.

But I will continue to buy ... and sell off what I don't want or is a marginal title that goes OOP or is an upgrade. I've accepted it and don't really want to chart my failure in actually using the discs for the purpose in which they were made. Thanks anyway

^ Did you strategically arrange those, or just dump em on the floor? 
I can actually make all of em out but one (the yellow one under the mary pickford collection). Is it a DVD season of It's Always Sunny in Philly?

And I have a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE PILE! I still need to update my BD's owned. The list in my sig is 6 months old.
