That's funny. I've also never seen The League, Wilfred, Louie, or It's Always Sunny, but for the price, I figured I'd give them a try. I hadn't seen The Walking Dead until a month ago. I watched the first 2 seasons during Halloween week, and am all caught up now. I totally expect Project X to suck, but it was 4 bucks. I had the restraint to pass on The Lucky One though, cuz I know I won't watch it. As for I, Robot, I was on the fence due to the reviews, but I did not own the 2D, so figured WTH. Bad Teacher was enjoyable IMO, but not fantastic by any means.

As a small online retailer myself, I will say the BF deals on CD & movies are unreal this year. i can't come close to matching, & for me this is looking like the worst holiday season since I started in 1998.

Remember that many bigger retailers are using Black Friday as a loss leader, hoping consumers will return in the following weeks leading up to Christmas. It is a dangerous game, as some retailers have actually lost money on Black Friday sales.

I refuse to spend more than $8 per individual movie given how much I've dumped recently on Criterions at the B&N sale and I'm still waiting for my UK Hitchcock box to arrive. But if something awesome pops up unexpectedly, well, maybe.

I do get your point as well, but sometimes the same titles are on sale at multiple places, and people may not be aware of the best deal. Several times in this thread I have seen people buy something for a higher price. I dunno if they weren't aware of the lower price, or are boycotting a particular store, or something else. But I do find it interesting to see what others pay... I wasn't trying to bust your chops or anything... And I really DO like the images. So technically, you "try harder" than the rest of us! :)
