Wondering if that was what the leaked 29.99 was actually referring to.

It's just SO easy to fake something like this though.

Re: Amazon Black Friday Week Lightning Deals Calender - 2012 Ed.
No. It appears that it was probably a hoax. The only thing from that flyer to have come true is that Bond 50 was a DotD on Nov. 24, and even then, the pricing was wrong.

Why not? It's posted as being tomorrow's deal of the day. The set was on sale for $59.99 earlier in the week. A $50 sale price is not a stretch.

Crap. Missed Red vs. Blue. Caught the first season when it originally came out during college and really liked it. Didn't realize that it has been chugging along for so long. Maybe next year.

I would have liked to have had that Blu-Ray set though! I'll just have to settle for the case of headlight fluid that I got in on. |
Re: Amazon Black Friday Week Lightning Deals Calender - 2012 Ed.
The Indiana Jones blu-ray set went from $49.99 to $64.96.
I remember the Bond 50 set went up to $209 and then the drop to $99.99 on Saturday so maybe something similar might happen to the Indy set? |

For those that had Sherlock Holmes price problems. They appear to be offering it again for $34.99 at 4:20pm PST Monday.... if this is the same collection. I wasn't looking at it before so I'm not sure, just knew that some people were upset.

Munificent blessings upon your house! Let's hope they honor that price this time!
(Especially as I gave my DVDs away to my dad over Thanksgiving.) |

The only good thing about Holmes is that it got the conversation off of Bond.
I do wonder what happened here, though. Since the price changed in the calendar at the last minute, there was some thought put into it. Perhaps they were expecting stock from the vendor and didn't get it, and any other stock they could have sold would have been at a significantly higher cost to them? |

Farscape just being the dvd kills me  I was counting on that sale. Darn it.

Now if Sherlock Holmes goes back to $56.99 during the sale, we know someone at Amazon is messing with us. I was considering the complete Dark Shadows, but I think the Criterion sale wiped me out. And realistically, I wouldn't have gotten around to watching those for quite some time. $299.99 is a good price, but it's been lower. I think holding out for at least 50% off MSRP is reasonable. |

It's not unusual for Amazon prices to fluctuate like crazy.
Cyber Monday is an illusion. I don't see any new deals worth mentioning. 18.99 digibooks is not much of a deal. Leave It to Beaver is the only other thing I'm interested in. Other than that, I'm done until TDKR is released. |
Re: Amazon Black Friday Week Lightning Deals Calender - 2012 Ed.
So how fast before Battleship BLU sold out? I completely forgot about it....
