Cool deals all over, just hope amazon is able to match their prices. Pockets are gonna get burned soon!

Yeah, I hope amazon matches, or that BB puts some of these online as I don't like going to the stores. The Ben Hur box for $10.99 was the only thing that lured me out last year.

Trying to save some money for the buying that is inevitably to come. The B&N Criterion sale is making it hard!

This year I got bumped up to silver premier rewards status. Does that get you anything extra at BB on black friday?

I'm fully expecting for Amazon to continue past practice and match these prices and take my money.

Yes. Well, not on Black Friday. In the past, they have opened the sale early to Premier Silver members online. I got almost all my stuff last year online days before Black Friday. It wasn't seamless, but I did get almost everything I wanted.

oooh....Salt for $3.99. It's $7.99 on Amazon right now. I'll hold off on that one for now. Also wouldn't mind getting KB Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 at that low price either. I'll hold off for Amazon. See what they got.

I blind bought Salt in a blockbuster 5 for $20 sale and regretted it. Tastes vary, but if you haven't seen it before I'd recommend trying to watch it first before purchasing it. Although, worst case scenario you could get $5 for it in a trade and save event like I did.

The Bond Blu-ray set will be $130 about $20 cheaper than it has been up to now.

I don't think Amazon has matched many of the ultracheap titles in past Black Fridays. I'm thinking many in the $3.99 list won't be pricematched. Though I do expect the items at higher price points to be matched.

And they'll do it a day before Best Buy rolls out their price, which will screw with my head.

They usually don't as a continued price point, but they do it as a lightning deal sometime during Thanksgiving week.

Are all those prices listed in that ad doorbusters? I ask this because my parents are looking for a new TV and that 55" Panny LED looks really good for $899, but I know there's no way in hell they want to fight the Thanksgiving crowds.

Re: Black Friday 2012 - Best Buy Ad

Waiting to see the expanded list in the hopes of good deals on LOTR Extended Editions (separate or box set) as well as Homeland S1...I think last year they ended up doing some really good blowout prices after Christmas, so I'm sure that the deals will come. I just may need to be patient for a little while longer...

I wouldnt get my hopes up with Amazon so quickly. going by past black friday deals there, they might just run lightning deals and you will miss out unless you sit in front of a computer the second that deal goes live

Still beats racing to a store (or stores) hoping there's some left on the shelves when the unwashed hordes are done with them. About as much chance either way, really, and it's a lot easier from home (or even the office for some folks) . . . Hell, I got every single bargain-priced Blu-ray I was after during the last three Black Fridays thanks to Amazon price-matching, and I don't even live in the United States!
