Did a couple of discs for Jeff Dunham: Mind the Monsters ($4.99 w/ t&s) and CM Punk: Best in the World ($16.99 w/t&s). I feel underwhelmed by the selection this time. I might do one more but it will be a spur of the moment thing.

This is a new release in a single blu-ray case, and not the boxed set that has been around for years. I can't find a listing for it on Best Buy's or Amazon's site, though. I didn't get it, though. Is it a two-disc set with both of the existing blu-rays, or is both movies on one disc? |

Ah ha. That's what threw me off. I saw the one in-store on Saturday for $9.99 but looked online today and saw the one for $16.99. I didn't realize they were different.

Has anyone who has picked up Wake Wood had a chance to pop it in? Mine is ridiculously out of sync, as if it were a really bad dub, and I was wondering if this was the case (a lot of scenes are filmed whereby the dialog is spoken without the actors looking towards the camera as if knowing they were going to dub, the attempted to hide it as much as possible), or I bought a bad disc. I've looked at a bunch of reviews and searched for a thread that might answer this question, but the only thing I can find are comments about how much of a punch the audio packs, nothing on the sync itself.

Kind of off-topic, but regarding the X-Files movies, are they any good for someone that never watched the show? I've always wanted to check the show out, but never did, and am tempted to get the movies since it's so cheap.

The TV series is available on Netflix streaming if you want to give it a go first before buying. But then for $5, it's not a big loss if you end up hating the movies. |

For the 3rd time during the current U&S promo, the cashier handed me the coupon & receipt back without marking off what I used. I'm making out like a bandit this time. Traded in 5 titles the first time, used 3, but they gave it back to me, so was able to redeem 8 total. Then I traded in 4 more, used 3 but got the full 4 back. Now redeemed another 3, but got the full 4 back again. So I've traded in 9, but am getting to redeem 18 (assuming I use them all).
Today I got The Switch, It's Always Sunny in Philly S6, and Kate & Leopold. They were out of The Dictator, but other stores show MANY in stock. Will go on my way home from work... I truly didn't think I'd be getting many this time, but when they keep giving the coupon back to me, I feel obligated to use it!!! |

As to TV shows, I'm holding out until Black Friday. I suspect we'll have a lot of shows rather cheap. |
