So, will you get $10 off Lady and the Tramp if you use the inevitable DMR coupon and trade in one Disney movie?

I'd put money on the Best Buy coupon actually being the DMR coupon for people "not in the know".

So, you can get it for free by just printing it out from the Disney Rewards site, or you can get one from trading in a Disney movie at the store. For the past few releases, they've promoted the DMR coupons, but this time they're not. I'm gonna say that you're gonna get $5 off, and that's it.

I could be totally wrong though.

That's what I assumed. I just hadn't seen them doing this 'alternative' way before.

FWIW, the Diamond Edition ($27.99) comes with a Digital copy as well and has a $10 off promotion that is still valid at Amazon as of today.

The inevitable DMR coupon appears to be a $5 coupon for the 2-disc combo and an $8 coupon for the 3-disc combo.

Only problem with that promo is that I either have all the other titles part of it or I don't want them (Bambi II).

Oh, I guess they changed it. It used to be save $10 on this Blu Ray purchase without requiring another purchase. Sorry for the false alarm.

Re: Best Buy AD 2/5-2/11

I'm looking at the 2 for $30 deal online and it's confusing. They have two listings for Cars 2; one costs more pre-discount than the other ($29.99 vs. $19.99), both are listed as the 3D version, but both show the 2D-only cover art. Logic would say that the more expensive one should be the 3D. Logic would also say that it's unlikely they'd sell the 3D for $15 even as part of a deal.

So...would anyone care to speculate on how likely I'd be to get the 3D version if I put the $29.99 combo in my cart and order it with another title? It currently is coming up as $15 in the cart. (I don't actually have a 3D setup, but if they're really offering both for that price, I'd be silly not to take the 3D version since it has more bonus features).

EDIT: Found different SKUs for the two versions online. The supposed 3D one is coming up as OOS at all nearby stores, so maybe this is indeed it. I will order for delivery and see what happens.

I'm tempted by Bridesmaids and X-Men First Class but I'll wait until they hit the $10 mark. I've seen both as rentals so that will hold me over until they hit the lower price point

Re: Best Buy AD 2/5-2/11

I'll pick up Breaking Dawn Part 1 on BD when it gets to the $15 or less range. I saw it in theatres and it was honestly my least favorite Twilight movie. But, I have the previous 3 movies on DVD and I'm a completist.

As for the stuff in the list, there is nothing that I absolutely have to have right now.

Re: Best Buy AD 2/5-2/11

I saw a new cardboard dump bin today with Mill Creek titles for 6.99. Not sure anyone will care since they're usually $5 or less elsewhere, but just FYI.

I did this, and Best Buy updated their site. The $29.99 version is in Spanish and they've now updated their site to reflect that (after I get it in Spanish, of course)
