Hey guys... Long time lurker, first time poster. I should have joined a long time ago. I'm sure I will comment now that I have an account. Anyways...

I bought this to bolster my criterion collection. Mine was also new/sealed and had no spine printing issues. However; about 1.5 hours into the movie, there was a frame that just stuck as if the disc had been scratched. The disc came directly out of the case and into the player (ps3) so I do not believe it was scratched and my ps3 never has had a problem with skipping. I was able to FF about 10 seconds and resume watching the movie as normal. I also tried removing the disc and gently wiping it down. It stopped at the same spot.

My question is whether or not anyone here who purchased from this vendor actually watched their movie? I was wondering if I was experiencing some sort of anomaly or if this set that was printed contained a defect.

Other than that. This movie was solid. My fiancee and I really enjoyed it. It surely helped that she is somewhat fascinated with Indian culture. I also enjoyed it.

My copy looks to be brand new. Watched the movie through already, no playback issues on my Panasonic BD player.

Mine was absolutely new in factory wrapper. Likely these are retail returns or something. I've yet to see something from Amazon Warehouse that is resealed. Meanwhile, I have received DVDs and Blu-rays from Amazon that look like they were retail returns. One even had a Walmart sticker on it.

I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps they came from Borders?

I received mine today and it was factory sealed. Had the security sticker on top and the blue Criterion sticker on the front. No misprints either. Nice deal.
