Amazon is having a mastercard promotion Dec. 1 only. Buy 100 dollars worth sold by amazon.com and get 10 off and 10 off a future order. It is on amazon.com homepage. The link on homepage leads to coupon code. Must pay with mastercard

It seems a little ironic that if I was going to do this, I'd need to use my Best Buy Mastercard instead of my Amazon Visa :lol:

I saw this on SD. Unfortunately you have to order $100 worth in 1 order and certain items (I don't know which) aren't eligible. I ordered about $200 worth on my Mastercard in the last week, but all on separate orders due to lightning deals. It's like that $10 off $50 coupon at Target which came after BF when it was too late to help me (unless they are willing to apply it retroactively which I doubt). So this won't do me any good. I haven't added it up yet but I think during BF week I placed 8 orders at close to $25 each so probably $200 this year for Amazon. I bought a LOT more from them last year, and I survived without Prime because Amazon's BF deals were worse than last year and thanks to BB.com. So I think I'm all out of stuff I want at Amazon so there's no way I could hit $100 today for $10.

They've been running this every Thursday for the last 3-4 weeks, but those instances were restricted to Toys & Electronics, whereas this seems to be open to items from any category. I ordered on the 17th, and everything went smoothly, though I haven't gotten the second coupon good for $10 off of $50 in purchases yet. They still have time though, as it says it can take up to 30 days.

That's a heck of a great deal. The One is a fantastic remote...I paid over $200 for mine if I remember right, but that was quite a while ago. Worth every penny, especially at this price!

Harmony deal is tempting, as I need another and the One would be an upgrade over my older version. But I don't really need a third Harmony. Trying to justify purchasing it is just my deal and buying obsessions, must resist.

I don't see why not. You can easily test it. You can apply the coupon code before checking out. Just make sure your MC is selected as the payment method first.

The last time they had this deal, it was $10 off Electronics and Toys only, so it is nice that it is off of ANY purchase this time.

You can certainly try it, but I'd be shocked if they haven't hit their 90,000 quota yet. That deal has been around for over 2 weeks now on Fatwallet and other sites... Only 80,000 people get the $20 MC, and another 10,000 get a consolation prize:

That's exactly what I just did! :) My wife has been wanting a Kindle and I put in a pre-order for The Lady Vanishes CC Blu (which I somehow totally missed seeing coming...nice surprise there!). The $10 off helps make the high cost of that Blu a little easier to swallow after all of the Black Friday steals! Plus the extra $10 off of $50 later will be a nice bonus and of course getting some back from Best Buy as RZ points is always fun! Thanks much OP! :)

Here is a way to turn this into a SMOKING deal:

You can combine multiple promotions at once… Bare with me here. Yesterday a LINK was posted to get a free $10 GC with $50 purchase at Target (which expires 12/3). I just found out that it works EVEN IF YOU BUY GIFT CARDS. You could buy $50 in AMAZON gift cards, which would be discounted to $48.00 if you use your Red Card, and still get the $10 Target GC. If you do that TWICE (using your previous $10 free GC), you spend $86 to get $100 at Amazon and $10 at Target. Then on Amazon, you can use the $10 off a $100 purchase with code ZKGYLEBT. Note that you only need to use a Mastercard for PART of the payment. So if you place an order for $110.01+, you can use your $100 in Amazon GC’s and $10 coupon, and pay the rest on your Mastercard.

Net cost for a $110 Amazon purchase: $76 (counting the $20 Target GC’s like cash, $5 Red Card savings, and $10 Amazon coupon). That’s 31% off!!!

I just did it 4 times, twice each with two different cashiers. One of them said someone had just purchased 5 of the $50 Amazon GC's (which explains why there were only $25 ones on the peg)... Their system definitely allows it, but I suppose veteran cashiers may not. Go to a new looking employee...

I even improved upon the deal, by using the $10 Target GC for each successive order. However, the Red Card discount is only $2, not $2.50, because of the way they ring up the free $10 GC. So my first $50 cost $48, then $38 for each additional $50 purchased...

That's a nice offer to combine with the Amazon $10 + $10. Spend $200 on Amazon and (essentially) get $40 off.

One thing though, be careful with pre-orders, as the $200 needs to hit your MC before 12/31.

Really wish I'd known about this before making all my Black Friday purchases online. The terms state that the $200 threshold has to be reached AFTER the time of registration. But with the damage I did last week, there is no way in hell I'm putting another $200 worth of purchases on my card before the end of the year. :lol:

Do all the purchases have to clear the same day for the additional $10 discount code to get kicked back?
I decided to pick up three Bds , but to pad out the rest of the order, I threw in a bunch of pre-orders. This will work out good since I can just cancel the previous orders I placed for these- and I did get the first $10 discount on the whole order.

Just wondering now if I have to wait 6 months for the last pre-order to ship before I get the additional coupon, or if the pre-orders are going to queer the extra deal entirely being so far out?

BTW- it's great this deal came along as the B&N 40% off sale was looking to be a whole lot of frustration - Meet Me In St. Louis isn't even in their system, and The Rocketeer is nowhere to be found on the shelves here. Taking out the pre-orders, the extra $10 off gets me very close to B&Ns 40% + member 10% off ( which actually comes out to 46% off not 50%). And I can make use of Prime which counts for something. Even if that extra $10 coupon doesn't come through, I'm still happy with the deal. But $10 is $10...

B&N has been great this Q4 (and especially with all the help you provide over in the other thread).
But with MMISL out of stock online, and no copies at any of the remaining brick & mortar locations here, the odds of being able to get this at the sale price in time to watch for Christmas are zilch for me. Same for Rocketeer. These were the last two big purchases I was looking forward to- and in this case, B&N's 40 off sale just won't cut it. I'm paying a slight bit more at Amazon, but I'm getting them in 2 days.

What makes this work especially well (for me) is that I already had a bunch of pre-orders in at Amazon. Shifting them over to one big order was no big deal. In fact, there are still several things I could fold into another big order to try to snag another $10 off. If I knew the additional $10 coupon would work OK with these pre-orders, that would be as much incentive as I'd need. Wish I knew for sure.

The $20 GC promotion has nothing to do with Amazon. That is Mastercard's promotion, and yes, it is still running... You can make your purchases anywhere online for that promo... This Amazon promo is just for the $10 off now, and $10 off later.

Same here. Pre-ordered The Muppets and Shakespeare in Love, and I broke down and got Chuck S4, which I decided was low enough... Here's hoping The Muppets drops at least 10 bucks by release day.

Found out about the new code a couple of hours while ago. I was just about to submit my order at the last few minutes when my lovely PC decides it's time to short out. Once I managed to bring the beast back to life naturally the codes are dead. Losing out on $20 worth of promos on crap I have to buy for gifts anyway just makes me want to pull the few strands of hair I have left out.

^ That sucks. I had an issue, too, but not as bad. On FW, someone said that you could combine this new code, with one of the 10 off 50 codes. I tried that, but the 10 off 50 code negated the new coupon code, and when I tried to add it back it came up as invalid. And there apparently is NO WAY to remove a promotional code from an account (you can remove it from applying to an order, but it's still on the account). The 10 off 50 is apparently stuck on this account now until I use it, and I could no longer get the new coupon code to work. So I used a different account to place my order with the new coupon, but one of the items had been a gold box deal. So I lost out on the 5% off from that item.

However, I more than made up for it. I sent an email about items which dropped in price two days after my order was placed. I totally expected to be denied, and I would have been fine with it. But they actually credited me $6. Amazon customer service is the best (well, most of the time)!
