Wow... all of the $15 sets seem worthy but I wonder if there's even a chance if scoring any if them by showing up at midnight. Does anyone have any midnight Black Friday Fry's experience?

Also many thanks to Fidodido for his weekly Fry's postings... if not for spending more than I wod normay they have saved me a lot of money over the past few weeks.

Depends on placement in line. The Burbank, Ca. Fry's is a nightmare for grabbing those box sets. However, I noticed a TON of those box sets earlier today. Can't imagine you wouldn't be able to grab a couple.

In years past I have been able to score some of the sets online with a store pickup, or free shipping (if offered). However, you might need to be quick, some of the popular ones go quickly, both online and in store.

Seeing some of these deals make me not want to buy anything semi-new. I thought I got a good deal a few years back when I was able to get the Spider-man Trilogy for $45...and then Bourne Trilogy for $30.

thanks for the list. quite a few $6.99 titles I would not mind getting there but not sure I am brave enough to brave the store. Will decide in about 6 hours. Hopefully by then I will feel it is all sold out.

Went by at 4am looking for Back to the Future Triology and despite thick parking lot the store was smooth. They had several if the $15 box sets left - tons of Spider-man, several Resident Evil, and very few Bourne. I saw a few Blade Runner Blus. However the Future Trilogy was out of stock.

I broke and headed over. It really wasn't that bad. Some of the movies were hard to find and I may have grabbed the last copy of a couple of them. The checkout line was about 5 minutes so it wasn't any worst than some normal days.

I was really looking for Mechanic and Fantastic 4: RotSS as well but they could not find them for me. I had a helpful lady in the movie section find out there were 5 of M and 1 of F4 left but could not find them in any of the spots they should be in. The lady at the register even checked the return to shelf carts to see if they had any in there.
