Um, so can items bought at Frys.com be reyurned to Frys and, if so, how long do people have to do so?

Peep, you should call a Fry's store about returning Frys.com items. I have a gut feeling you'll have to mail Frys.com stuff, but I'm not sure.

Great price. As much as I like it, I definitely am in no rush for this one.

I ordered mine from Amazon on release day.. me thinks I'm gong to buy another one & return the "old" one, since it's like a $20 price difference! (And since the return window on Amazon is open for another week or so.) It's a hassle but for $20, I'll do it!

I'm really tempted by that price, but I read several reviews on Amazon and alot of people are saying the HD transfer for the 3 movies is crappy. They said it's really grainy. Any thoughts?

I already have the trilogy on DVD, but wouldn't mind double dipping for a great transfer and cool new extras.

I'd read a DVDTalk review or blu-ray.com, or anywhere else other than Amazon customer comments. Overall, it's much better than our 10 year old DVD's. Not pristine, but you will be surprised by how good it looks. I think it's worth it for $10 per movie.

And I ordered this yesterday together with Super 8 and The Crow. I chose slow shipping for the extra credit, but Jurassic Park and Super 8 came today before noon! Pretty impressive even by Amazon's standards and makes me wonder if they accidentally did prime shipping.

Maybe you live near a fulfillment center. 90% of my orders seems to come right here from Phoenix, maybe 30 minutes away, and I get them often in 1 day instead of 2. But I still would never give up Prime. They get those orders out faster and that damned thing really spoils you and, until they recently stopped doing a great job of matching the lowest prices (from Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc) for new releases, I was ordering almost all of my blus from them.

It's called an "excellent" transfer. So many BDs are over-DNR'd these days, people see grain and they think "horrible" job.
