Awful price on True Blood. Hoping for a $34.99 release week price like Boardware Empire and Game of Thrones.

True Blood S3 was $35 last year at release.

Wasn't TB on of the titles that had a cheaper second week price than release price?

Maybe. My records show I purchased May 30, 2011 for $34.99. I'm thinking that was close to release but I don't have a calendar from last year. I was surprised by the price and recall thinking it wouldn't get much cheaper for a long while.

Yes, Black Friday lightning-type deals do not count because I have no way to track them effectively and they tend to be very limited in time and numbers available.

Furthermore, I list a whole lot of titles that couldn't be considered bargains so I expect people to know what they are buying. I can't possibly know what is a good deal to each person reading this thread. The vast majority of titles I list I've never heard of and wouldn't be of any interest whatsoever to me. (For example: I don't watch horror. At all. Ever.) But they might be of interest to someone.

I agree with not factoring in the BF deals since we can't go back in time to get them.

I picked it up for $7.99 at BB online on BF (or it might have been their Monday online sale the week of BF), and I still haven't opened or watched it. It's sitting on my pile just waiting for me to get time, but next up are my taxes.

I liked it.

Missed the cheapo version on sale, grabbed it at Costco for $11.

I blind bought it and liked it, but it's definitely not for everyone.

I bought it strictly because I liked Watchmen so much (and despite the horrible reviews on this site). Definitely entertaining.
