Went in for Saving Private Ryan at $11.99; although I know it's been cheaper.

Finally got Deep Impact. And just got my statement for my Amazon rewards card. I got 56$ back from my BF shopping. So stoked.

+1. It's like the people who are still complaining about prices of Looney Tunes or Tales of the Crypt because they're not as cheap as the ones they got at Big Lots.

Unless you paid by Paypal (apparently there is a special number for that). It's funny to me I guess, they both shipped (I couldn't cancel either), and they will both arrive on the same day supposedly (this saturday). However, going by Half.com...I might be able to sell the second copy and make a small profit. If I actually had more friends with blu-ray players I probably just give the other as a nice cheap x-mas gift.

On Tales of the crypt its funny that they put out 2 sets (1-4) in two packs and left the rest at full price.

On the bonds I just need one of them. Not doing the dd on them. They (I could be wrong?) seem to be DVD to Blu (not the last 2, the others).

I just fine it faster and easier to just give them away then sell them. The last disc I sold was Batman under the red hood (DVD). Sold it 4 times, each time they did not pay (eBay) and when they did. They did a charge back. Before it even ship. Funny part about that is. I got to keep the money 3 of the 4 times.

Even if they do not have a blu. I still give them away if its a movie/show they watch. With players now $50 (Walmart) most people will get one soon.

re: Amazon Blu-ray Discounts and Deals Thread #27

Since this is round #2 of Target doing the $10 off $50 GC thing, out of 3 Targets I visited the previous week and 3 I visited this week I found exactly $125 worth of Kindle GCs. Pretty disappointing. It's the #1 target at Target of Slickdealers with $10 off $50 coupons, so it's basically impossible to get Kindle GCs at most Targets unless they happen to restock and you arrive at the right time. I got Disney and restaurant GCs instead as I plan to go to DL soon, but more Amazon ones would've been better. Sad again that I don't have the Red Card but I won't have time to mess with that until January. Of course they can track all of your purchases with the Red Card vs. paying in cash, though that chain of GCs does link them all together. There is always debate if doing this is "OK", yet if it wasn't OK then why did Target do it a 2nd time and allow GCs to pay for other GCs? Who knows.

kenbenobi, you've way outspent me at Amazon and on BF this year! :-) It was fun looking at your hauls list because I basically bought a subset of everything on your list. Had there been more Kindle GCs I'm sure I would've bought more than $125 worth, but I would've probably stopped at $300 or $400 vs. your $600 and counting.

With the Target Red Card, a $50 GC only costs $48, and if you factor in the free GC, it's like paying $38 for a $50 Amazon GC. I usually buy one, then use that $10 GC to buy another one, etc. So I pay $48 the first one, then $38 for each additional one. That way you'll only end up with one Target GC left over.

Last week I ended up buying 12 Amazon $50 GC's, and spent them all. I bought another 3 today, and will probably get a few more.

Yeah, I went a little crazy this year. I had actually bought a few more, but decided to return them, so I removed them from my list. Plus I bought multiples of some for Xmas gifts, and didn't list those either.

As for finding Kindle GC's in-store, many stores by me are wiped out as well. I only know of 2 stores which still have them. I truly don't "plan" on buying many more. Last night I was spending $25 at Target on other stuff, so I bought another $25 Kindle GC just to hit the $50 mark. So that's another $175 in Amazon cards I have bought in round 2, versus $650 in round 1. I'm scared to look at my credit card bill! Thankfully, I should be able to pay it off in full without carrying a balance, which I try not to do.

Amazon and Target are my two favorite stores, so it's nice to be able to combine their promotions to make for super awesome deals. December 17 is the next Amazon $10 off $100 purchase day! I'm already building up my cart.

Hey kenbenobi-

I'm in the Milwaukee area too and was going to pick up 1-2 of the Kindle GCs tonight. Do you know offhand which of the 2 stores still might have them?

Thanks!

Amazon tweeted that the Peanuts Collection will be 15.99 on Monday. I assume they mean the Holiday Collection, and yes, it could have fit all on one disc.

Last I checked, Northridge and 124th & Capitol had them... The South side was pretty much wiped out.

That was only your 2nd post since 2006?

Impossible to find the kindle cards here in north jersey... I settled for some iTunes I needed and a resturant that I frequent... Same principle applies.

I will be away for the next ten days to two weeks. So, no more low price lists from me for the time being.

As always, you can find useful links for checking low prices at Amazon in the first post of this thread. And please continue to post your "finds" here for others.
