Harry Potter Years 1-7 (8 disc) BD set for $47.00 on Frys.com? It would be tempting except it says unavailable for shipping and unavailable for store pickup, so you can't really preorder it, and once it goes live it'll be OOS fast or they'll raise the price (a la Jurassic Park Trilogy). That's probably why this isn't on SD yet... it's not a deal if you can't order it yet. As much as I'd like to wait for the Ultimate Editions... I might be able to live with $47 for all 8 ($6 each) and pick up the UEs many years later when they get dirt cheap.

I was fooled by a similar listing in the San Jose advertisement before. Note that this is NOT the Blu-Ray set, but is the DVD set.

I hope you were thinking MANY years later. Warner has decided to create their version of the Disney Vault. And the Harry Potter movies are the first titles to be added. So, after December 29th, all of the Harry Potter discs will go OUT OF PRINT. So, if anything, we should expect the Harry Potter discs to RISE in price. That said, most of the discs have been available for such low prices in the past that I don't anticipate there being much profit in trying to eBay them. And the rumors are the "archive" period won't be quite so long as Disney's.

Thanks. I didn't look carefully enough. I saw it on the email they sent and it didn't say the format. The top banner sure looked blue-ish like a Blu-Ray banner would.

Will this deal work on Tuesday with Bolt 3D and G-Force 3D and the others. Does anyone have the Fry's list of available titles that work under this promotion?

I assume the Disney 3D Blu-Ray titles are all at least $26.99 each before $15 off 2 of them? If I'm buying something on BD and I have the choice of 3D, I buy it, but I'm not rebuying 2D BD stuff on 3D BD unless the price is super cheap, and I doubt even with the $15 off 2 that the price is under $15 each.

Correct. $26.99 is the cheapest one that I saw. I know that Lion King was listed at $36.99, which is not much of a deal at all.
