Makes me glad I didn't go. I don't need or want any of those movies but I know I would have bought every single one:lol:

$1.88 BD's
Mercenary For Justice

$2.88 BD's
Courage Under Fire
Runaway Jury
House on the End of the Street Unrated
One Hour Photo
The Family
Black or White
Pixels 3D

Also picked up 2 holiday BD's at $5 apiece:
Arthur Christmas
Freebirds

I went back today to look to see if they had put any more copies of Easy A out. I couldn't find one, but I did pick up:
I Love You Beth Cooper for $3
Get The Gringo for $1.88
Safe Haven for $1.88

I'm going out of town next week and will look at one more Big Lots for Easy A.

The Black Friday assortment certainly has a mixed line-up that seems to vary from store to store. Lots of stuff I've never seen before for cheap, including things like Immortals 3D and Walking With Dinosaurs 3D.

I don't. This was a blind buy, but it looked good.

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays

My local store had a bunch of new $3 titles stuffed into the existing display.

The Campaign
Get Shorty
In the Valley of Elah
Mortal Kombat Legacy II
Observe and Report
Red Riding Hood
Rendition
Shoot 'em Up
Starship Troopers
Veronica Mars

There were also a few $3 ones that I've seen before. In fact, they were still in the same display for $5. Aloha was one such title I recall.

I'm interested in a few of these. Left them there for now. Believe I'm due for a $5 coupon later in the week and will go back then.

I went in Sunday evening and purchased the sole copy of Get Shorty on BR for $1.88. I don't know if I'd missed it when I went in last Wednesday or someone swapped the price tag... It didn't strike me as odd until your post about it being $3 and me not noticing if there were other $1.88 BR titles.

I got my first $5 coupon with the new program last week. You can now track how many purchases towards the next coupon in your account - like before with the 10/$20 get a 20% coupon program. I'll be going in later this week to take advantage of it...

I stopped at a Big Lots in Crossville, TN today and finally found a copy of Easy A for $1.88. It has the Meg DeAngelis cover.
I also bought:
Little Miss Sunshine for $3
The Seven Year Itch for $5
Hitch on DVD for $2.50 (I have never seen it and it's almost as cheap as a rental).

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays

Welp, even though I didn't buy anything...I did notice some interesting stuff today at the Westheimer Big Lots since my wife needed a few things.

BlackList Season 1 & 2 were $8 a piece.
Better Call Saul (looked like LE type packaging) Season 1 $8
Mash Steelbook $5
Fantastic Four (the crappy one) Digibook $5

There were some other single titles as well but nothing really stood out. Almost bought the steelbook but never been a fan of the movie or series so I decided against it.

I'm surprised that the BCC isn't selling at either of the stores here. last time I looked, both still had the 3 they started with.

Watching this now. Very pleasantly surprised. I'd definitely recommend this one.

Pearl Street (Tacoma WA) put out a full (& it was packed) Black Friday Display, + a number of titles I hadn't seen before at BL.

Problem is they were mostly so lame, I hadn't seen quite a number of them anywhere before!

I bought 3, & considered Rio 2 ($2.88 DVD & $5 Blu; but passed on that one

3 I bought:

Blu: Australia $2.88

DVD: The Big Street (Lucy Ball Romance Noir $5
(Interesting looking blind buy) Bel Ami $1.88

That seems awfully slow for a store to just now put out the Black Friday display.

Surprised me. It was definitely the BF display; it was labeled BF, the prices in the display were all the X.88, & it was jam packed; I assume it was put out today.

They also had more than usual $3 & $5's; though most were pretty weak titles.

This is one of the new BL superstores; they may not have known they had it & discovered it in the back room.

Day after Christmas, I bought Christmas in Conneticut for half off, $2.50

Wasn't aware of a 50% off sale, or I would have gone in.

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays

It's possible that some have been discounted, without an official sale. I had a $5 reward and went in yesterday. Decided to pick up The Internship & Office Space, priced at $5 each. Office Space rang up at $2.50.

Not sure if it means anything, but it's on my receipt as APRIL $5 BLU RAY CASEGOO. (Pink sticker)

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays

Is the Christmas merchandise at 75% off yet?

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays

Picked up

Fault in Our Stars Extended edition Blu-ray $2.88 (sticker not after a discount)

Fergully Blu-ray $2.88 (sticker not after a discount)

The Blacklist Season 1 Blu-ray w/UV $8

The Blacklist Season 2 Blu-ray w/UV $8

Saw bunch of other various Blu-ray titles for $2.88 and $5. Nothing spectacular.

Also saw but didn't pick up

Breaking Bad Season 5(?) Blu-ray $8

Better call Saul Season 1 Limited Special Edition Blu-ray $8

Answering myself, yes. Though most stores have little left besides laser projectors by this point.
