Re: Stars Wars $36 ebay.uk

Good price, but I'm not sure I want to trust someone with only 68 positives overseas just to wait 21 days for it. It also notes that for international shippers it will cost extra shipping, taxes, and duty fees. The shipping for that set is not going to be cheap so you are looking at fairly close to the 62 you can get it for from bn.com to get it in a few days.

Thanks for posting though

Shipping is free. They just put that disclaimer for customs. Still haven't decided if I'm going to bite.

Re: Stars Wars $36 ebay.uk

Ahh I misread it, I thought it said there would be a shipping cost of overseas. I guess I am just weary of someone with such low feedback with 500 to sell. I would think if they had that many then they are probably a fairly nice sized business and would have well over 68 positives.

Someone with low feedback selling an item in the hundreds for a spectacular price just kind of sends alarms off with me. If you do bite though then let us know if it goes through ok and you get it so we can all be jealous :P

When it's Amazon.UK at a discount, I'll be interested.

From 周 燕娜 8Rxxxxxxxxxx £22.90 GBP

For those who are interested:
The seller’s eBay.com User ID is deastham
The seller’s name, “周 燕娜” is definitely a female name. It’s a very popular name for show girls among Chinese Community.

She started a new Star Wars Blu-ray listing on eBay.com: Item number: 300600823520

Re: Stars Wars $36 ebay.uk

I see no problem with it if it's a good deal, but people should probably look into it a bit more before posting to make sure it doesn't look scammy.

The new price is $58.25, they must have realized it was way too low originally.

They swore in the description it would ship from the UK, I don't recall the city. I guess that answers the bootleg question.

I also see they have changed their location from the UK to China.

Be careful, you might have someone attack you for saying that like what happened to me on the alice 3D blu ebay auction thread last week.

They've always been allowed, to some extent.

Obviously we can't pimp our own auctions, and it makes no sense to plug an auction of a single item. But auctions of groups of items at great prices pop up here occasionally.

Re: Stars Wars $36 ebay.uk

Hello Everyone,

I purchased the Star Wars blu rays from erindenise22 for £22.99. The listing said they were based in South Lanarkshire,Scotland and the item would arrive within 3 days via Royal Mail. I too live in Scotland so All Good.

I returned to eBay later in the day to find the auction had been pulled.

I quickly sent an email to the seller and opened a case with eBay. I have had a few problems with eBay purchases of late

Shortly afterwards I received this email

hello, your item have be dispatched from our Hong Kong Agent, that is Airmail,it will take 20-25 days to come to your country, please wait it patiently
from ebay seller:erindenise22

The seller now seems to have changed to Happyinchina11

I fear this is a scam and I will escalate my case with eBay as of Thursday.

I would be interested to find out if anyone receives their purchase. Ill certainly provide feedback here

Thanks Guys

Re: Stars Wars $36 ebay.uk

I have an update. The seller responded with a tracking number that is non-functional on a bizarre website. Honestly, I will not link it, because it's as fishy as can be. Paypal may "verify" it and close the case if it checks out to them....

Can't you dispute it for not being what they promised. They said they were genuine, factory sealed copies shipping from the UK.

Exactly the same non functional tracking number for a strange site but tried the number again today and it says something is being sent to the U.K. but what?

Bootleg Blu-Rays probably

Re: Stars Wars $36 ebay.uk

The tracking number I was sent is now working on packagetrackr.com . But it's definitely not coming from Guernsey like the original eBay listing stated it would:

Our items are shipped from our warehouse in Guernsey and will normally arrive to the UK/Ireland within 3-4 working days, to Europe within 10 working days and the rest of the world within 14-21 working days.

Re: Stars Wars $36 ebay.uk

There are so many problems with the situation that it's not even funny. All feedback from the transactions was nullified when they deleted the listings, so we cannot even see others' reactions to this ridiculousness. My tracking number is doing something now too, after three weeks. Just to make sure it's not the same tracking number provided for everyone, mine is: RA294206103CN .

As said, it cannot be as described or promised.

Does Paypal have a clause about one claim only per item if they close a case in error?
