Though it's hard to believe that this will drop in price that soon, I've seen some stuff this year I never thought I'd see. BTTF had a similar release last year and was a LD for 25 (which was the same % off as Star Wars for 50) and later this year for 15.
In this economy, never say never.

if anything youll see BF sales on the indivdual trilogys or maybe a deal like alien last year at amazon where you saved 20 bucks if you bought last of the mohicans on the same order as the alien set before amazon realized you were essentially get last of th Mohicans for free and getting the Alien set for 50 shipped.

It is true that it is also a different studio, but in my experience, FOX is more likely to deep discount their BDs/DVDs than Universal.
But Star Wars is probably the most popular franchise out there and I will be surprised to see those kind of discounts applied to it, especially the initial year of release. It took five years to get a decent price on Star Trek TNG and even that lasted only a few hours (I know, Paramount, but it is a very popular franchise). I wish I had pre-ordered Star Wars from BN when those 50% coupons were available. I think those who did so got if for less than 50 shipped -- but of course that was one of those deals that was not specific for Star Wars, but was applied nonetheless.

If you buy the 6-pack with the free lithograph pack at Target, the receipt says the lithographs have a "refund value" of $8.88 (regular price $9.99). So if you return them, your cost for the movies should come down to $71.11.

Just thought it was funny : We have a local furniture chain called RC Willey here. They're offering a promo here where if you show up in Star Wars costume, you can buy the set for $79 -- which is the same price as you could buy it at Target without dressing up like a Jedi.
Great marketing move, guys!

Ahh! Amazon is helping Lucas rape my (fill in the blank). I'll also post this in the 20 other threads.
