Re: Criterion sale

Tempting, I have Killing, Chronos and Insignficance on my current wish list. At least they offer free shipping over $50.

Re: Criterion sale

Sad this doesn't apply to pre-orders. Really wanted 12 Angry Men and Rushmore.

Re: Criterion sale

Agreed about the pre-orders - I'm already mostly caught up with my Criterion purchases, but I would definitely pick up about a dozen of the upcoming titles if they were offered at 50% off.

As it is, I ordered the Kurahara Eclipse set and "My Life as a Dog," and then got a $50 gift certificate in my email (for spending more than $500 on their site) so I then ordered "Secret Sunshine," "3 Women," and the non-Blu "Science is Fiction."

Re: Criterion sale

I've already got everything aside from pre-orders, so I'll pass.

Re: Criterion sale

I was hoping the pre-order glitch was back. Alas no.

Re: Criterion sale

B&N has spoiled me. This just doesn't seem like that good of a deal to me.

Re: Criterion sale

It was a good chance to pick up things that have been released since the last sale - once you take things like tax on B&N sales into account, I only spent about a $1 more per item here. Also, for me, it's easier to do a few smaller orders over several months than one really big order like I would do every July and November if Barnes and Noble was the only place offering halfway decent prices.

Plus, I want these things NOW!
