I picked up Much Ado About Nothing (~$6) and The Hustler digibook (~$10.50). Unfortunately, it seems like most of the stores I've been to were cleared out at lower discounts. On the bright side, I've found about a dozen cds I wanted that came out to ~$4 each.

Went by the Roseville CA store tonight and ALL the Blu-Rays were locked behind glass doors! Some of them weren't even facing so you could see the titles- if you're going to fucking do that, the title and price at least should be clearly visible. They probably didn't sell too many at full price there.

Finally stopped by my local store and they didn't have much left. Probably 30-40 blu-rays total. I ended up getting 2010 for $6 and Billy Madison for $8.

Until the price hit 70% off that's how it was at least 2 of my stores, although I admit you could at least see what the titles were.

Went to the two remaining Rhode Island Borders this weekend. The Cranston store was pretty picked through (though had lots of quality books left) yet Providence Place had a good amount of Blu-rays left. Got -

Went back for one more:

Bruce Springsteen - The Promise (3CD/3BD box) - $53.60

It was considered a CD, so it was only 60% off. But I still didn't want to wait any longer, and potentially miss out on it, as there was only one copy.

The signs said '10 days left' on Sunday, so I assume they're closing for good around the 14th.

Anyone know if they are going to drop the percentage again before the last day? Not a BD, but I've been eyeing The Walking Dead - Book 6, and even though it's a good deal now, I keep passing since there's a good amount of copies yet, hoping to get an even better deal :)

Prices usually get ridiculously low on the last day, as by that point they're trying to get rid of whatever's left. Maybe they'll even have all the merchandise unlocked so you can actually get to it.

Well went for the last time this morninng and ended up getting the following Blu's at 80% off.

House of Flying Daggers $4

other titles still there included another Fight Club and Predator 2. Had a copy of Hellboy 2 but it would still be $8 and figure eventually will wait for say used at goHastings for that. Valkyrie,Precious, and Eragon stuck out to me as notable titles as well. Overall there were still about 50 titles left at my store.

In the end, the only titles I "missed" out on that I was hoping would stick around for the 80% off included The National Parks(6 disc set), Night at the Museum, Romeo and Juliet to name a few. And at another store I was hoping to get at 70% but missed out on The Excorcist and Apocalypse Now (full exposure edition). Oh well, you win some and lose some but overall think I made out alright in my 2 hauls at 70% and now 80%.

I made a mistake of buying the last blu-ray left when it hit 90% off. I was thinking how bad can "Stan Helsing" be and when I got it home and checked the reviews, I knew why it was the last blu-ray still in the store.
