Hm...I'll have to check my local store for Dog Soldiers. Were the $5 BD's with the other blu's in the electronics department or were they somewhere else? Also...

Dog Soldiers for $5 is worth a trip to the Kmart's.

Re: Kmart $5 Blu rays

I seen these last night in the electronics section, they were on a separate shelf/endcap. I think those were the only 4 I saw too, there may have been a fifth title, but I don't recall.

Is the Day of the Dead remake that bad, it's the one I was thinking of grabbing?

It's unwatchable. I rented it from redbox when it was first released and was glad I only paid a $1. Not a single redeeming moment.

Another title I saw (and bought) for $5 was The Proposition.

Re: Kmart $5 Blu rays

I bought Dog Soldiers last week there, along with a couple hours for 5 dollars. Never seen Dog Soldiers. But for 5 dollars why not. I liked the Descent.

Re: Kmart $5 Blu rays

Didn't find any at the Albany, OR store, but found some at the Corvallis store--not in the electronics dept. but in a bin up front near the registers. Picked up:

The Proposition
War, Inc.
Dog Soldiers

Also saw:

Haunting of Winchester House
30,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Blackbeard
Final Days of Planet Earth

Picked up The Proposition; thinking about Dog Soldiers, but the reviews of the Blu don't make it sound like it's much of an upgrade over the DVD. But, hey, for $5...

Re: Kmart $5 Blu rays

I think I'll have to stop at a kmart on the way home. I've been passing on Dog Soldiers for too long. I can't pass up $5...

The copy I picked up was in a cardboard bin with a bunch of Anchor Bay horror stuff.
