"Back to the Future" is now sold out online at Best Buy and not available in stores. Damn me for sleeping!

Just got a text from my wife that she scored one at Target in Johnson City, TN on her way to work.

Re: Target Ad for 6/12-6-18

Scored one at my local target this morning.

Of course it was nowhere to be found alphabetically. Someone put it in the "Z's"
Luckily I happened upon it.

Even better, I had a $15 gift card from my parents for my birthday to put toward it.

Re: Target Ad for 6/12-6-18

They had plenty of BTTF at Kingsport BB pricematched Target, used $5 off coupon for Avatar 3 disc 14.99 and True Grit for 9.99 all blurays. Wouldn't use on BTTF as pricematched. Started to get the 30 for 30 set but will show to wifey for FD

$3 coupon for Man on Fire worked just fine. $4.99 + tax. Thanks for posting that.

I got the last copy at my local Target Sunday afternoon, hit Best Buy for other shopping immediately after that and saw BTTF BluRay with a shelf tag advertising $14.99, with plenty of copies still in stock.

I found one at my local Target. It was so nice because it's the new packaging with no instruction required to remove the discs.

Re: Target Ad for 6/12-6-18

Just a heads up that in the movie section they only had one copy of the Back to the Future set at Target but near the registers they had a whole end cap with about four more copies plus a lot of the TV shows that are on sale. Just look around they may have it where you don't think to look.

Not sure if this is going to hold, but it's currently $14.99 at Amazon and it says "Free Standard Shipping (3 to 5 days). No mention of $25 minimum. I've never seen that before but that makes it a better deal than Target (if you don't declare the sales tax).

Why is everyone buying at Target and Amazon when you can get it for $10 at BB?

That is probably YMMV. My Best Buy has never let me use a coupon like that on a sale item.

I understand that you were able to use it. I was saying that I have never been able to use a coupon like that on a sale title. I always get turned down at the register.

You need to flirt with the cashier more... or less, whatever the case may be.

If same sex employee that you don't deem to be into you engage them in mild blanald talk. But not too much, talk to them too much and they get suspicious that you are trying to pull something over on them.

Also always present coupons at the end after they have totaled and bagged item(s)/looked up your reward zone account.

Re: Target Ad for 6/12-6-18

I just picked up a copy of BTTF and they had a bunch of them right on the endcap where they keep this week's sale items. There were at least 8 or 9 more in the endcap (I know, because I pulled out 3 of them before I found one with an undamaged slipcover).

In my case it is because the nearest Best Buy is 190 miles round trip... Even Target is a 70 mile round trip but I have to go to that city for groceries every ten days or so. That's why I like Amazon so much.

Unfortunately it's a 100 mile roundtrip for me for both stores but similar to you I have to go to Evansville for various food items/shopping every few weeks.

I have the DVD set. I'm asking very sincerely... outside of picture quality, why should I double dip on this?

Re: Target Ad for 6/12-6-18

OKay, can anyone explain to me why the BTTF Trilogy Blu-ray rang up $19.99? And of course, there was no sales flyers in sight (coincidence?) to prove that it was on sale for $14.99. The manager called me a liar and told me to pay the $20 or get out...Then he followed me out to my vehicle, calling me a "cheap b*st*rd" because I wouldn't pay $5 more than what was advertised. I thought the sale prices were chain-wide, but I guess that's not true.

Would it do any good to contact the Target headquarters to report this "manager"?

Wow, that's a little extreme.

If that's true, then I would...

A) Contact the District Manager and tell he/she what happened.

B) Then Contact Target Guest Relations via Corporate and do the same.

I could have swore your name was Manzana and it was about Best Buy. I was shocked to find out it was someone else and Target.

Re: Target Ad for 6/12-6-18

There is no way a manager at Target would call someone a cheap bastard and follow them to their car...if that indeed did happen, there is no way that he would be employed there after a call to corporate. I don't understand how so many people on here have so many horror stories about shopping, I've had some things not go my way, but I've never had such issues as many seem to, crazy.
