I bought True Grit and Harry Potter with the coupon yesterday. First time I used the coupon. The cashier scanned the items, and then the coupons. She looked surprised. I think she was expecting the coupons to not work, because she immediately said coupons are not to be used with sale items, then showed me where it said so on the coupons. But she said "well, it scanned, so I guess I'll allow it this one time." Mental note, I won't be going back to her register!

I'm pretty happy I got this coupon to work on S2 of Breaking Bad. For 9.99 I couldn't turn it down. My Best Buy is known (to me, at least) for really being a hassle and for being difficult with price matching, coupons, being inept, etc. etc. So, given my poor track record there, I only really go there for great deals at this point. Anyway, I've been in there a bit more recently, but the cashier I went to wasn't one I recognized. She scanned the blu-ray and then read the coupon for a good 30 seconds. I could see in her face that she wasn't entirely sure about it, but thankfully, she didn't call a manager over or anything. SHe just said "Well, I'll scan it and see if it does anything." and that was that. I almost wished I had tried it with more titles, but I've been spending plenty on blu-rays recently, so it's probably for the best I only printed out 1.

A couple days ago I picked up the Back to the Future set for $10 (Target price match and coupon). I said to the cashier, "I have this coupon, but it may not apply." Fortunately, she scanned it without reading the fine print.

I'm a happy camper.

I went to 2 Best Buys (the first was out of Ultimate Matrix) and at both the cashiers did not even flinch. Just scanned and was good to go. Even using 2 coupons on the same transaction works!

Matrix isn't coming up as $29.99 in-store, so I just showed my phone to the lady and she keyed it in.

This reminds me of the $5/off Target coupon from last year (or the year before) that ran for a month or two. It messes with my sense of how much blu-rays cost. I still subtract $5 mentally when I go to Target then sigh.

Are you able to price match at the cash register? I always thought it was at the customer service and I went in the other day to ask about price matching and the coupon and the girl said I could only use one. But if the regular cashiers can price match I may go back and try to do that. I really wanna jump on the breaking bad deal.

Also purchased the DVD for Royal Pains season 2 (on sale for $19.99) for $14.99

$30.72 out the door with tax. The cashier didn't even hesitate to use both coupons.

The coupon comes from their website. One of the BB emails I received reminding me that I had an in-store pick up had a link at the top of the email advertising the offer. The link took me directly to the coupon.
