I understand your frustration. I usually make a call before driving over. My WM near my office did have several copies of Some like it hot the week after it's release date. But, anyone who spends anytime reading deals threads knows (as you've pointed out) that ALL walmart posts are YMMV attached to them. In this case, I think it's a fair chance local stores are carrying this title. I do know it's priced at $10 for those carrying it, that's not a local store sale price...it's there store price for all inventory of this title.

Well, heck. Thought I had found a deal ($2 cheaper than Amazon); instead I'm paying $2 more. :shrug:

I did find 9th Company for $9.14. It includes the DVD.

Might place another order for Man From Nowhere for that price along with Great Dictator or Hustler. I'll probably be able to get the Chaplin movie cheaper eventually from BN sale or at Amazon.

Just FYI, if anyone's leery about DDD's service, I think it's back to being decent. I got an e-mail basically apologizing for their bad service lately that included a $10 off coupon. I ordered Once Upon a Time in West, which streeted Tuesday, and it was here on Wednesday with free shipping.

And I just got an E mail saying they have no idea why I didn't get a coupon, but that the coupons are no longer valid anyway. Oh but they did "apologize for the inconvenience."

Add to this the new shipping minimum and the fact that I now get charged tax and I think I'll just maintain my moratorium on not buying from them again. I'll let them know and apologize for the inconvenience.

I just ordered the horror classic Mother's Day on Blu-Ray for $12 and change, shipping included. Hopefully they're back up to par, as last time I ordered from them it took nearly a month to get it.
