Stopped by my local Blockbuster this afternoon and they had the $3.99 table out with tons of BDs. As I was slowly looking at them, the manager came over and replaced all the $3.99 signs with $2.99 signs. Finally, my procrastination pays off! Sure enough, when I checked out they were $2.99 each.

Picked up:
Salt, Casablanca, Shutter Island, The Other Guys, Prince of Persia, and a few others. It did suck to see some that I just paid over ten bucks each for sitting amongst the piles of movies. The manager did say to be sure to come back tomorrow because whatever is left will be 99 cents. I think I may have to map out all of the local Blockbusters and make a game plan. I think it'll be a long time before I see this price point again.

Might be. Mine was actually marked 12.99, but was part of the 3.99/2.99 sale.

It matters not what movie it is. If it was in the boxes they got delivered it is 3.99 as of today. No matter what movie it is.

I went to a store in Fort Worth, TX today. They had the 5/$20 table, but not the $3.99 or $2.99 stuff. I'm going to try a different store tomorrow to see if they've marked everything down again.

Finally found a store tonight 15-20 minutes from where I live that was participating in the $2.99 Overstock Sale.

Problem was the table had a sign mentioning it was only a one-day sale (Sunday) and there wasn't a single BD on the table

Eh, it happens dude. I just haven't heard anything contrary to it not happening at all stores. Even the ones that didn't get blu's in my city are doing dvd's for 99 cents tomorrow.

Some of the stores are only getting DVDs. There doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason. I had to drive out to the boonies to find a store carrying blus. And they had a shit ton. I walked out with Devil for 2.99 because it was the only one left, but Im going back in the morning to grab a stack at .99 prices (they had The Expendables, Dinner With Schmucks, and a bunch of other titles that I didn't see in the 5 for 20). BLURAY INSANITY.

The two other stores who told me they'd have stuff didn't. One just got DVDs and the other hadn't received anything and the manager was pretty peeved. On top of that, he got a call from a store saying they'd received 18 boxes of Blu-rays, but HE COULDN'T REMEMBER WHICH STORE CALLED! (He's a good guy and recognized us, so he's not an idiot or snowing us. He just didn't remember.) I called the stores he thought might've been and one had nothing and the other had only some out and weren't in a rush to get the rest out.

I finally stumbled over a store that had a lot of stuff at 18 Mile and Garfield. Today was $2.99, t'row they drop a buck. Other stores are going to 99 cents tomorrow, but they aren't and they're way out of my way so, oh well on Tuesday. Picked up:

There was a guy there who was going to buy everything but he waited until everyone who was there at open got what they wanted first since hew was probably going to resell, that was nice of him, unless the manager told him he had to wait lol



total was 299 before discounts but keep in mind they were all scanning at 6. Regular bbv price would have probably been closer to 500 or 600

Stopped by my local store again yesterday and they are supposed to have everything on the special table down to .99 cents today. I grabbed everything I wanted the other day at $3.99, so anything I get today will be gravy.

Stopped by another store earlier yeasterday and they had no blus on their special table. They told me my local store is the biggest in the state, so they "get everything".....could be the reasoning behind some of the stores that didn't get any for this special.

I checked the two closest stores near me & they both did the same thing. Lots of stuff posted here that were new to this 3.99/2.99/99 sale that wasn't there before for the current 5 for $20 sale. Both of those stores obviously took all the BRs from those shipments & put them with all the other BRs for sale. So that mean they weren't included in this amazing sale. I'm not surprised, I have horrible luck. lol Very jealous of everyone that's getting them for so cheap. I bought 15 DVDs I've been wanting or been curious about for 99 cents today. Oh well.... lol

Sadly it seems none of the Cleveland area stores got any blu-rays... Oh well.

Made it out with 54 pieces for a total of $58.06.

It was hard not to want to grab the entire table. There was only this couple there who's friend worked there and had told them about it....we were just happily clawing our way through the table.

Our two local Blockbusters didn't have blu-rays, only DVDs for 99 cents - I was able to score some good titles, but sadly no blu.

I ended up calling a bunch of stores over the weekend here in the Orlando area, and the first one that said they had anything yesterday was the one on Kirkman (which was about 20 miles away). He said they were $2.99, so I headed down there to scope it out. I ended up picking up 25 titles yesterday, thinking that was it, because I wasn't going to drive back out there today to pick up the scraps.

When I got home, I decided on a whim to call stores a little farther out and there was one about 50 miles away (Clermont) that said they had a lot (like 500+) and they weren't sure if they would be $0.99 today or not. So I got up and headed out that way first thing this morning. I got there early and even helped them set up the tent out front, and they let me start looking through stuff before anyone else got there. I ended up with 41 titles at that store.

Then the first store I had hit yesterday was kinda on the way back, so I went back to that store and grabbed 19 more. These two stores seemed to be the only ones in Central Florida that got any clearance blu-rays. Some other stores got clearance dvds, but no blus.

My total haul from the sale (including the 5 for $20, and the $2.99s from Sunday) was 119 titles for a total of ~$247, which makes an average of like $2.07 a movie. Not bad at all.

Went to 5 stores in north K.C. Only 1 had Blus mixed in with the 99 cent dvds. Grabbed 9 titles on Blu plus both discs of Hung on Dvd.
