If the $5 coupon is a Target-branded coupon, you should be able to stack it with the manufacturer's coupon from Disney, bringing the 4-disc Tangled down to $10 or $12 (depending upon the value of the Disney coupon)

I wonder if Amazon will drop their price to match Target's price? If they do Amazon's price will be $16.99. That includes the $8 coupon that was deducted from my order. I see that on BB site it's listed at $29.99.

Looks like I'll be canceling my Amazon pre-order for Tangled. $11.99 is better than any price I'm gonna get at Amazon. I'm currently at $21.99 there.

Potentially $9.99 for the 4-disc, if the Disney coupon is for $10. $24.99 - $10 - $5 = $9.99. I'll be canceling my Amazon order as well... ALSO I may get in on that GC deal. If you buy another title with Tangled, and return the other item, you get to keep a pro-rated portion of the GC. The Tangled portion is $4.55, and the other title (based on the 29.99 price) would be $5.45. They typically charge you $10 for the GC, and discount the BD's by the amounts I listed. So the $10 GC will end up costing you $5.45, since that is the portion you would be returning. You'll get to keep the $4.55 savings. I've done this before, and it works. If you factor in that extra savings, you may potentially be paying only $5.44 for the 4-disc Tangled.

EDIT: I also forgot to factor in the 5% savings for using the Target card. This is gonna be a FANTASTIC deal...

As will the Disney coupon, more than likely, if A Christmas Carol is any indication. At least the 3D version of Tangled is a lot cheaper than A Christmas Carol (which was $34.99 everywhere). Here's hoping for a good price on Tron 3D, as that will probably be the one they issue a coupon for, too. It's bugging me that Disney releases the coupons only for the 3D version. I know it will work for the regular BD, but that's not what it is intended for, so I'm reluctant to use it for that. Since Tron and The Lion King will both have 3D releases, I'm sure the coupons for those will be for the 3D version as well. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. But if the prices are right, it will be OK. $10-$12 for the Tangled 3D set is a pretty good deal. Of course that's counting on the Target $5 coupon which may not be there for the other releases. But I guess even $15 is a good price for a Disney movie. We've just gotten spoiled by < $10 prices.

Kenbenobi, this may be a fantastic deal until we find that each Target only gets 4 copies of the Tangled BD in which case only those who get to Target early will be able to participate. I hope that doesn't happen not but most stores have had poor inventory on recent Disney BD releases. I remember AIW and BHC2 were history at all stores in my area by Tuesday evening, and Nausicaa was history after just a few hours (we can discard Nausicaa as hopefully being atypical because it's not a mainstream/official Disney animated feature).

You'd think Amazon would PM this deal somewhat, but I guess I'll need to cancel my $21.99 preorder tonight too. Too bad there's no way to put a temporary hold on an Amazon preorder just so I can see what happens. With all these coupons and combo deals, though it USUALLY works out at Target, there's no guarantee until you're out the door with it in your hands.

Target has an exclusive combo pack that has the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital copy along with an exclusive cover. All other stores have just the Blu-ray/Digital copy.

All of those releases you mention are also catalog releases except BHC2 and no one really wants that movie anyways. Tangled will have plenty of copies just like Tron will whenever it comes out.

well to help ensure they do, perhaps you will do what others have allready done and clicked the notify us of a lower price link on the tangeled 3D item page.


also those of you expecting a 10 coupon, I am thinking this will be 8 dollars( though i hope i am wrong) based on the fact that the last 3 titles that had 8 dollars off instead of 10 also had 8 dollar coupon offers from amazon.
toy story 3, prince of persia and secretariat.

the coupon that amazon offered those of us who pre ordered was also 8 dollars and based on the previous examples i would say its pretty likely that tangled 3D will also only be 8 dollars off.
