Saw it for the first time last night. Not spectacular stuff, but it is entertaining as hell. Changes my perception about frying pans.

The Target I usually go to have a small square kiosk where they put all of the children's DVD's and BD's, and I grabbed one of the last 3, and that was at 11 am. Always find it odd when big Disney releases like this have minimal stock at places like Target. Happens at the Wal-Mart as well.

My store that was sold out yesterday must have got more in. There were 2 on the shelf. No Little Golden Book in either, but I'm not terribly upset. But my Tangled was strangled with the spider security thing. So I need to upgrade mine. Such a nice slipcover deserves to be in nice condition. I HATE those spiderwebs...

My $5 Disney coupon did not automatically take $5 off. It said "Item Not Found" and they had to override it. But they spent like 45 seconds looking the coupon over, then Tangled, then the screen, then the coupon, then Tangled, then the screen, over and over before they finally pressed K1. The Tangled coupon scanned without issue, thankfully, since I doubt she would have been willing to override both without getting a manager. I paid with a gift card and got the hell out of there.

I don't like messing around with coupon scans, even though I'm pissed I didn't get one in the mail. They sent me a free dozen eggs coupon, so I'm definitely in the system, but I didn't get this catalog...

So, I already got the 4-disc Tangled from Amazon for $11.99 after they doubled up on the $5 off (email and preorder guarantee), but today we got another copy as a gift (Target version with book). We have the gift receipt and I wondered if anybody knows if I could return the one from Amazon to Target? It has the same barcode apart from the last few numbers by the looks of it. If not then we will just keep the one from Amazon.

I have always assumed that a UPC must match exactly, and I've never tried to return anything that was different by even 1 digit. Otherwise you run the risk of their system not recognizing it and they would say they can't do the return. Every once in a while there are extra digits in a UPC beyond the 12 digits that t matter, and I think those extra digits can be ignored.

If the actual 12-digit UPC code is the same, I would try. The bar code to the right (on mine it has 00003 under it) I would not worry about. I doubt the scanner will pick that up. Even if there is a problem, you could just plead dumb and explain the situation and say you'll return with the right one.

Well, it worked fine. Guess anything beyond the first 12 digits are insignificant.

I already bought the Target 3-disc Exclusive for Black Swan. But when I went into a different Target, they've run out of the black 3-disc sets and were selling the white box with just the BD that all the other stores are selling.
