Amazon has dropped the price of The King's Speech from $27.99 down to $19.99.

I hope Black Swan is next.

$20? P-P-P-P-Pass.

Yeah no offense...but that's not a deal. That's pretty much basic pricing for new releases. It was say....$15.99, I'd probably be more interested.

It's still noteworthy because Amazon does not list any of their pre-orders at $19.99. Usually you have to wait until the title is released to get it at $19.99.

I completely agree; however, I started a thread here about a year and a half ago asking people at what point is something considered a deal and a lot of people seemed to think 50% or more off of the MSRP is a good deal (which this price for The King's Speech is 50% off). So, you and I may not be in the majority when it comes to the perception of a good deal.

I think $20 is a pretty good price to be honest. It's better than paying the $22-26 range that some studios like to charge for their new release titles. I mean sure it could get cheaper but I doubt it will for a while at least. Regardless I have this on order because it was one of my favorite films from last year and I can't wait to own it.
