I would be surprised if we are still able to swing the B&N deals (coupons) during the Criterion sale (like we have in the past) and, as one who loves Easy Rider, I have confidence that I'll at least find another couple of movies in the set to love.

I received my shipping notice this morning. I too received the "delayed" email a couple of days ago. WIth the free 2-day shipping I should be enjoying this set Wednesday...the only question is which movie to start with? I'm leaning towards Five Easy Pieces so I can see that scene where Jack's playing the piano on the back of the truck stuck in traffic I love that scene!

I received the shipping notice from B&N and the 10% back confirmation from Discover. I'm glad I held out and got it for less than $50.

My $4.25 cashback is pending, so my total for this order was $52.05 shipped. Not bad.

Generally I've had nothing but problems with shipping from B&N.
I bit on this sale because I wasn't sure about the Criterion sale and coupon use next year.
Two weeks ago I placed and order for something else. I got that ready to ship email then nothing. I called to find out what was going on and was told that it would arrive by Christmas. Still waiting. That free express delivery for members is a joke.

I still haven't received my order, from the Criterion sale, that shipped Nov 16th. They have credited the $75 or so back to my CC.

I did order this, though. It was scheduled to ship today, but so far it hasn't.

Yep! I ordered a set on the 22nd and it said that it would arrive on the 27th. Well, today has come and gone as far as mail is concerned and the set is not here. So I decided to check the tracking number and according to the information the set was sorted on the 24th at my local post office and then it was sorted again today at the same location. WTF!

That's a lot of sorting for one small package. I cringe when a seller says they ship USPS and this is why,

It takes 3 weeks whenever I order from bn.com to ship to Hawaii. I would kill for like one week (or even two). I always get dhl/usps too.

Mine was supposed to be here yesterday but when I enter tracking information at USPS it says it was picked up in Shepherdsville, KY on the 27th at 4:45 pm and nothing has been updated.

Mark me down as another one re-ordered. My set should've been here yesterday too, so as soon as it arrives I'll return it to B&N. Awesome price just got more awesome.

Mine came yesterday but I think I'll pass on the re-ordering and returning to the store. It's not worth the time/gas/trouble for an additional $6.

I finally ordered this as well. After hemming and hawing, I couldn't resist this price. $43.26 total after tax, coupon, cashback, and B&N MC discount...

mine's been stuck in Kentucky for several days as well.

Mine has said that it is going to ship on December 28th and it still hasn't left the warehouse. Although, in usual B&N fashion, I cannot change my order (or cancel it). I'd love to cancel my order now and add the 25% off coupon.

I guess this just further solidifies my decision to not renew (my membership was up in November).

I ordered on 12/24, got the "shipment delayed" email on 12/25 and my set got dropped on the porch today (12/30) by UPS. A bit of a surprise since I never received an email confirming shipment. Very poorly packaged (just the set rattling around in an empty box) but thankfully undamaged.

Edit: I got the shipping confirmation email from them today (12/31), the day after the set had been delivered. Weird.
