I was wondering how fast it would go. I got mine, too. As soon as it came up I hit add to cart. The site took a minute to check status on the item and add it to my cart, but I am glad I got it.

Both Alice and Watchmen have already shipped and expected to arrive tomorrow. I love Prime.

And on the far side of the ledger, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (DVD version) has only sold 3 percent a full three hours into 'Lightning' round and the Blu-Ray only 22 percent. Talk about a snooze-fest.

I would have bought the blu-ray if it had been $9.99 but $14.99 come on it wasn't that good

Wow. No love for Ellery Queen Mysteries, only 7% sold so far. That's a shame because it's a great show. I was happy when I got it in the mid $20's.

You're right. I remember the show and it was good. I remembered Jim Hutton died real young (looked it up - 45, liver cancer) and he was the father of Timothy Hutton.

Thanks for the reminder, I bought it.

So, on the Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy you save a whopping 48 cents instead of ordering them individually. Wow.

Re: MORE Amazon Movies & TV Lightning Deals: Dec. 13-17

So how much will POC be for the set? I was hoping for a deal on them...

I'm also confused. I haven't bought a Lightening Round item yet. It says it goes on sale at 9:30 EST, but the count down time says "starts in 3:10:XX". Is the start time just an estimate?

EDIT: NM....duh....the time is not Eastern, but Pacific....agghhh...my bad.

Still curious as to what the price will be....

Eww....well that doesn't seem that great of a deal. Not near the deal some of the other items. Only like $8.00 off their price right now.

$13.33 per movie. Not a big deal...dang....any other better deals on POC? Wife really wants.

I'm with you..... POTC trilogy is near the very top of my "upgrade to blu" wish list.... but I'm waiting until I can get them for under $10 apiece, so this "deal" isn't it.

So, you decided to post a DVD set that a whopping 14% off, in the Blu-ray Deals Forum?
