My Gone With The Wind came today. They look like they where returns, I really do not care. I pickup the 1st one for $27.99 and two day later they had it in my GF QPOTD at $26.05 she order it for me without knowing I order it (I order her all the screams as a here you go baby, and he knows I wanted it). Also F.Planet came today going to add it to my DVD Tin box set, and 20,00000 miles to earth. Someone even send me a All Star Superman (I have no clue who yet).
Side note (do not flame me). I have a extra copy of Sound of Music box to trade for Wizard or OZ or 10 comms box if anyone has one. |

Those $6.99 Amazon BDs are similar to what Fry's keeps advertising as 2 for $12 (which are actually just $6 each). I guess Sony is offering some of their lesser catalog titles cheap to various stores. I'm surprised Vertical Limit isn't on this list. The bummer of it is that other than Vertical Limit and Legend of Zorro which I already got for $6 each, none of the other titles are really stuff I'd upgrade my existing DVDs to BD @ $6.99 each. (I've never seen Go, Southland Tales, or Tailor of Panama so they'd be too expensive for blind buys.) Plus you have to be really careful with Sony BDs and read the reviews first. Quite often Sony drops extras from the DVD to their BDs (and quite often they go the cheapskate route of BD-25 instead of BD-50), so if you care about extras your average Sony BD may not be sufficiently complete to let you get rid of your DVD. Same with Fox too. One can never assume any BD carries over all the previous extras, though by all logic they should.

Better, the price is really supposed to be $38.99. For some reason the items aren't listed at that price, but several folks have gotten CSR to adjust their order price. I'm not entirely sure which is the price mistake, but it can't hurt to ask.

That has since been taken down. |

I had been waiting (forever) for season 3 of the Twilight Zone to go down. I finally jumped on a copy as 46.49 is good enough for me. Thanks for the heads up on this! Only 2 more to go.
