Thanks. Down for Valkyrie for $9.

For those who haven't checked it in the last few minutes, I've added another dozen recent new lows to the list above. But that's all I have time for today.

Re: Amazon Discounts and Deals Thread #7 (is it #7? I'll pretend it is)
If I hadn't already bought from Ebay a VERY good looking bootleg of Robogeisha/Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl on DVD I'd be all over the Robo BR for that price!

I haven't been following the discussion on this title much, but isn't this a crazy good price for this title? It would have still probably cost more during the last Criterion sale at BN.com had it come out in time. No?

But all that is moot because it wasn't released in time and there's no way to know if there will be another B&N Criterion sale. And if there is, will there be coupons and will we be able to use them. |

Tempting, but I can wait a couple years to purchase a hi-def release of a scratchy film. I'm guessing they over-estimated demand on this title and this will be an outlet special at some point. YMMV. One of the great films though.

No. While this is a fine price and better than you'll find anywhere right now, it's more than the B&N Criterion theoretical sale price and not even close to what BN members would have paid had it been released before or during the Criterion sale. The B&N sale is 50% off which would have made this set 62.50. Deduct the 10% member discount and it's down to 56.25. Then you probably could have used a $5 coupon to drop it to 51.25. Depending on the cashier you may have even been able to use the $5 of a $50 purchase to save another $5. At one point during the sale there was a 25% off coupon that would have made this an absolute steal.
But all that is moot because it wasn't released in time and there's no way to know if there will be another B&N Criterion sale. And if there is, will there be coupons and will we be able to use them. |

Some nice new lows there today, finally picked up WWII in HD $13.99 and the Wallace & Gromitt: Complete Collection for $10.49 Have had these in the wishlist for awhile now.
Thx lizard for continuing to post these, I don't go on bluray.com as often as I should to see the low prices and always make sure to come here for your consolidated lists. |

Yes, I passed on it in my Gold Box for the same reason. And if it doesn't get to <$10 soon, or I spot it at my local Walmart for that price, I will just wait. But I'm buying for myself, not for Christmas presents, and I'll just Netflix it if I can't find it cheap.
