Soooo, tempting, but do I need to own this? I already rented this and watched the bonus features. It will probably sit unwatched for ages...

To buy Legend of the Guardians or not to by Legend of the Guardians, that is the question...

I bought Legend of the Guardians. What a day at Amazon, after a loooong pause!

I ouldn't see anything on the listing to say sd or hd.

$10 was my magic price point for Where the Wild Things Are. Picked it up; thanks a bunch for taking the time to make all of those lists every week lizard!

Is there only one current version of The Town?

On Amazon there is. Best Buy has the single version, but the one on sale this week is the same one on Amazon.

FYI, Legend of the Guardians appears to be a single disc BD version. Not the 2-disc DVD+Blu+Digital Copy (which doesn't appear on Amazon, only the 3D version with BD, DVD, DC).

Doesn't matter to me, but they're discount is a little misleading since the 1-disc only retails for $29.99 at BB. Still, 50% discount isn't horrible. I enjoyed the movie (pop song in the middle aside).

Fuuuuuuuuuu....just after I bought season 2 from Amazon.co.uk.

Ah well, only spent $28 shipped from .co.uk, so still saved a few bucks.

You can buy the entire collection for around 60 bucks on Amazon.uk, which makes the US prices pretty expensive. I've been keeping an eye on the series for a while now, but Amazon.uk is still the best bet it you want to have the complete collection.

I had bought S1 and COE on Blu when they went cheap, but S2 only just dropped on co.uk recently, which is why I just bought it recently.

Either way, if you buy it from Amazon.com or .co.uk everyone should watch the whole series, as the new season that will be on Starz is shaping up to be quite good looking =D

Have they showed footage somewhere, or you just mean based on the cast and characters?

Correct. This is Blu-ray only. No 3D, no DVD, no Digital Copy, none of which I really need.

They're advertising a Baz Luhrmann BD in the Lightning Deal at 2 p.m. Pacific, probably Moulin Rouge

The cast and characters, but more so the interviews RTD has given. After Children of Earth he knows what he's doing with that show, and he's said many times being on Starz won't mean the show will change, so I have hope.

I browsed through an interview with John Barrowman at B&N, and he said the Starz season is gonna be friggin awesome. I can hardly wait...

Considering I like both Strictly Ballroom and Romeo + Juliet, I took a chance on a blind buy with Moulin Rouge. :)

I went to this movie at a dollar theater because there was nothing else on. It was one of my biggest surprises ever. Great movie and will probably look great in blu. To bad my Prime expired.

I really went out on a limb there, considering the only other Baz films on blu are I believe Romeo + Juliet and Australia, and the teaser mentioned singing. :)
