No joke. Some of the price I have seem are really from other retailers and their ads. I can see something new happening next year around this time for ads.

Great find, thanks. Used it to get Grown Ups and Easy A for 27.48. Easy A isn't on that list but Grown Ups is on the list for the titles that get you $5 off of Easy A.

I was waiting for The Natural to drop in price. I didn't expect it to drop so soon, but I'm happy it did.

I also picked up several of the Bond films: Dr. No, Goldfinger, Thunderball, The Man With the Golden Gun, Licence to Kill, and The World is Not Enough, all of which are at their lowest Amazon prices ever (as individual BDs, not part of a box set). I also picked up From Russia With Love since it's also at a low price, for a Bond BD, and it's the best Bond film IMHO.

After I'd decided not to get The A-Team for $12.99, it was in my Gold Box quick picks for an additional 5% off (probably because I had bought The Expendables). Damn my greed! :)

IIRC, FRWL, Dr. No and Thunderball were 6.99 around Black Friday two years ago. That's when I got them. I'll wait on TMWTGG until it's under 10 bucks and the others I don't care to upgrade. But yes, From Russia With Love is my favorite Bond film as well.

Not a Amazon deal still. If you go to Target buy a box of K-Cups you get a $5.00 off Blu-ray one of them being the Other Guys. They did price match it and cost $7.99. Then they gave me a $2.50 off for K-Cups (Making them $6.65).

I don't know what "platform47.com" is, but they have two reviews on that page and the second one is better than that one. :)

The Bond movies could be had for $4.99 in 2008 by stacking two sale offers.

Unlike most here, I didn't care for From Russia with Love and sold my copy. (The gun handling in the battle sequence reminded me of the old westerns where they used cap pistols and I found it very off-putting. The concept of recoil is often unknown to movie makers.)

My bad. When I checked the price history chart on blu-ray.com it showed the current prices as the lowest ever, but I guess they don't take into account special offers. Now I know to check their chart and then check with my fellow DVDTalkers for price history info.

They're also $6.99 during Boxing Week here in Canada at Future Shop, if you have a Canadian friend who can pick em up for you. I picked up all ten of the pre craig films for that price. (Already had the Craig ones)

I remember that sale well! I bought a bunch of Bond flicks back then, but unfortunately was stuck with several duplicates that I only recently got rid of. Getting the BD's cheap somewhat made up for triple buying all of the films (on VHS, DVD, and then BD).

I really wish they would release the rest of the films. It's driving me crazy that I don't have a complete collection yet...

FYI the Sound of Music has been this price since it came out. They did have a price drop for what seem to be only 14 mins. To $39.99
