BB has Avatar for $23.99 right now, and part of the Buy 2 Get a $5 GC promo. I bought Avatar and Inception (only $17.99 right now), and got the GC. So if you split the GC, it's like getting Avatar for $21.49 and Inception for $15.49

Which is why I hate to buy new during new release time. I picked these up for my son for Christmas and now they're already cheaper. I know they won't honor the price so I'll have to return and repurchase

Hard to keep up with all these price drops. Didn't notice Beauty and the Beast was down to $14.99 for the combo in BD case. Pretty cool.

For goodness sakes, I hope EVERYONE took advantage of that INCREDIBLE deal for NANNY MCPHEE RETURNS at $25.99 to really show off just how AWESOME Blu Ray can look!

I just check to make sure it was not the dvd in my order. It's the blu-ray. Could have been a price error like The Goonies was some days ago (Amazon did send it). FYI when I did place the order it was both the DVD and Blu-Ray at $14.99 that is why I said what I just said.

Since Amazon has The Office S6 @ $15 for DVD or $20 for BD, is there any difference in extras/content between the DVD and BD versions? The few DVD reviews I found didn't enumerate the extras in a way that made it possible to compare to the (much more detailed) BD reviews.

I wouldn't worry about it. Amazon is matching next week's Target price for The A-Team—and several other titles at that price—and is undercutting next week's Best Buy price for The Sorcerer's Apprentice. While one never knows for sure with Amazon, it is likely that the prices will remain at those levels all next week.

If you search for the titles they may even show up in your Gold Box at a 5% discount in the next few days. (I had The Expendables in my Gold Box today. It's only a 65¢ savings, but I'm not going to complain.)

Thanks for letting me know! I already bought Inception from Amazon, otherwise would be a good deal. Unfortunately the other items are not as reasonably priced.

A-Team and The Expendables were going to be rentals for me, but I might bite at that price. It doesn't help that I'm really getting into the Digital Copies, which I figure won't be around for future sales.

This year more than any other has emphasized the danger of pre-ordering. I don't ever remember this many severe price drops a week or two after street. I guess it's the physical-media industry clawing to hold onto its space.
