Was all set to place an order, but the shipping costs (14 euro) were more than the DVD I wanted (12.60 euro)

I just looked, it was 7,77 Euros which looks to be about $10. Too bad shipping was so high, that would have been a nice set to have. Rocky was 27,77, which doesn't seem like much of a deal.

Amazon.mars actually had a few good deals, but the intergalactic shipping and wanting my first male child kinda killed the savings.

Darn it. I had Euro 10 Promotion Credit left in my account. Thanks Numes!

Re: Amazon.de's Cyber Monday Sale

Hardly anybody got lucky on the lightning blu-ray deals. They were 'sold out' in less than 30 seconds.
Quite the outrage with customers complaining everywhere, and apparently authorities are looking into amazon.de's cyber sale.
Bummer really, as I was looking forward to get the Alien Blu-ray set (I'm located in Germany) and the steelbook of Iron Man 1+2.

The authorities are going to look into it? Really? The point of a lightning deal is to offer a discount on an item and sell it within a certain time frame. It's not Amazon's fault that 1000's of people decided to buy a certain item causing it to be sold out very quickly.
