Re: the amazon code thread

I believe the grhornet code will only work on Sony titles featuring Seth Rogen. Has anyone used it successfully on another Sony titles, or any random title?

I had no idea Amazon had any kind of $10 off codes floating around - and I've already spent more that $50 with them this week. Shame.

Re: the amazon code thread

One of today's offers for Visa Signature card holders is $10 off Toy Story 3 BD/DVD combo pack. (Note you can only select one offer per day out of all the items available)

https://usa.visa.com/personal/visa-s...e/holiday.html

You just put in your applicable Visa Signature card digits and get a code. They change each day as far as I can tell. Previous days offers had $10 off Beauty and the Beast blu-ray, and $30 off a kindle 3. I missed both of those, but was able to take advantage of $15 off Halo Reach. Ended up buying that for only $15 when it was discounted yesterday.

I tried this and it didn't work , does it have to be $50 worth of blu rays?
or just a $50 item ?
I have a Visa Amazon card , maybe that is not a store card?

Re: the amazon code thread

I always miss the boat on the Disney blu-ray deals with MFR coupons, but I just bit on this:

Toy Story 3 4-disc + Toy Story 2-disc blu-rays

$10 off combo purchased together, $10 off coupon for Toy Story 3 (Visa Signature coupon).

Total for both was $25.

That's what I'm thinking of doing. I don't think it's ever been that low before!

Re: the amazon code thread

Damn, was hoping the coupon worked with Zack and Miri. It is a lightning deal right now, so would have been only $2.99 with coupon!

So that's pretty much just Superbad & Pineapple Express then?

(And yes, it works for Hancock, randomly. I haven't had any luck with other non-Rogen Sony titles.)

Re: the amazon code thread

^ Hancock ties in with the Green Hornet hero theme, I guess. That's probably why it's included in the promotion.

Yeah but the Spider-man titles don't work! (They're Sony superhero-themed titles too!)

Re: the amazon code thread

Actually, I wonder if we would have been able to use this yesterday morning during the Lightning Deal when Superbad was up for $5.00. If so, that would have been a $2 Blu-ray! (Though as it currently stands, $4.99 certainly ain't bad.)
