I have never noticed this. Sure, I've seen things go up in price here and there, but I never noticed it lining up with a sale, and it certainly isn't most of their items.

i have found only a very few items in my wishlist go up in prices with these sales.

With the 43% sale I got ant-man, insurgient, the fly, sum of all fears, hot fuzz and world's end for $30 shipped. that maintains my $5/BD average. So no complaints here.

GoHastings used to do it. They got smart and simply started excluding the better used items from these sales, typically newer inventory they just got in.

Had to call & get a refund for Straight Outta Compton used BD order I placed on 02/05/16.
Shipped media mail on 02/05/16. Arrived at my favorite place (Richmond, CA.) on
02/10/16 & no tracking info since.

My other 5 orders I plced after this one have have arrived.

is the shipping method UPS Mail Innovations ? If yes, you will still get the delivery after a really long time. Go to your area's main USPS station and have them track it. I have had two packages delivered to me about close to 4 weeks after dispatch. Tracking status still shows its in my area post office. It's a pathetic system

My guess is you'll probably get a free BD. I had this happen to me once (different retailer). Ordered something in late July of last year and it arrived close to October. I had already gotten a refund so I was pleasantly surprised when I got the item I ordered.

Did Hastings disable the ability to search for Criterion DVDs and BD's ? used to be a simple 'criterion' search keyword would list all titles to which further filters could be applied. but now, a 'criterion' search brings up nada. Experts that can crack this ? TIA

DEALOFTHEDAY is 20% off any new Blu-ray $14.99+. It's an offer that seems to pop up once a week, but it's especially nice today when paired with GoHastings already low price on Hunger Games four-movie set. $33.29 plus tax.

I bit on the $39.99 price last week and used EARLYBIRD to knock the shipping off. I would have saved another $5.50 by waiting until today.

Not sure if there was a glitch on the site but all of a sudden prices started to drop.

I picked up

1. Minions 3D, Spectre, Sisters, Brooklyn, Spotlight - $6.66 or less
2. The Peanuts Movie 3D, Room, Creed, Daddy's Home, The Good Dinosaur - $7.77 or less

Forgot to mention these prices did not include the $1.29 shipping charge for each one.

Thanks! A huge number of my wishlist titles dropped pretty low. Got Good Dinosaur, Goosebumps and a few recent blus for like $7 and the Star Wars Box Set for $27.93 Hope they all ship!

Yeah, I also picked up some 3D movies, but the big score is the Star Wars Complete Saga for $27.93. Also got Snow White for $7. I just hope it ships. All that for $52 and my first gohastings order in over a year.

I had good luck with their last 40% off sale last month, scoring some nice titles. This time around, not a whole lot, but was able to pick up some missing Disney stuff on the cheap. Good Dinosaur, Big Hero 6 and 101 Dalmations for ~$7 each, as well as a couple other nice ones like Jaws for under $3.

There's been steep price drops AND steep increases as well. Many titles were being offered by Hastings thru the Amazon marketplace at a much lower price vs a much steeper price on Hastings site, have now leveled off (I have a huge wishlist on both). Case in point 'The Redhead from Wyoming' was $7.49 on Hastings site and $2.49 on Amazon (thru Hastings) - now they are both the same. But at the same time, some titles have almost gotten a 60%-80% bump in price. 'Gravity 3D' last night was $14.99 when the sale began and this morning is $23.99. Still managed to chip away at some of the titles from my wishlist
