Ok guys, YMMV on this one. They have a new promotion where if you buy Bambi and another title from a short list you get $10 off:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...d_i=B0049GYXDG
I ordered Bambi for the $14.99 price when this thread was started, and earlier tonight I placed an order for Alice in Wonderland. Once I had the order placed I contacted Amazon and chatted with them, told them about the new promotion, and they lowered the price of Alice in Wonderland for me from $27.99 to $17.99!
It would be worth a try for you guys as well!

Is the ten dollar coupon still available for bambi? If so you can cancel your bambi order and the 10.00 coupon would once again be able to be used along with this new promotion.Originally Posted by Brent L

I don't think that coupon is active anymore, so don't cancel your Bambi order.
Just place an order for Alice in Wonderland, or whatever, then contact them through email or chat or something and ask them to manually take the $10 off of your new title and point out you already bought Bambi. They did it for me, they likely would do it for others as well.

That's exactly what I did, seemed like a good deal.Originally Posted by Brent L

^ It worked for me. However, they called it an "exception". I was left hanging for a good 30 mins. while they were looking into it, so I feel I earned the $10 off.
I was actually hoping they would make the adjustment as a gift card balance or something, so the price could possibly go lower with the pre-order price guarantee. Instead, they just readjusted the cost of Alice to $17.99. I might end up canceling before Feb, since it's still over $19 after tax. Acceptable price, but I'm sure there will be better deals.

I had to talk to two reps, the first was very helpful but I made the mistake of not having ordered Alice in Wonderland first, so he ensured me if I preordered it would be added, or I would have to speak to another rep. It wasn't added when I ordered it, so I just shot off an email with the original copy of my conversation with the other rep and they corrected it immediatley. Glad it work, same with the one for Back to the Future.

Digitalbits is reporting that Bambi is being pushed back to 4/19
but they are checking with the studio to verify the date has actually been changed.
Iam hopeing that the 4/19 is in fact the DVD only release of bambi since that would be 6 weeks after the 3/1 date which has been the standard window that we have seen with the dvd only release of the diamond titles following the BD combo release.
