This is not a good deal. A lot of those films are available in 3 packs for $10 right now. Some are as low as $5-6 everyday at retailers.
Was really hoping they would add more stuff (TV), but as it stands, this isn't a deal anymore.

If you have L.A. Confidential and The Player on DVD, want to upgrade both, and have a membership to Sam's Club, they have a Blu 3-pack for $13 with L.A. Confidential, The Player, and Body Heat.
That makes purchasing the 3-pack cheaper than upgrading by spending $6.95 each on L.A. and Player at DVD2BLU. Added bonus: you get to keep the DVDs for the next Best Buy Upgrade and Save.

I think his point was that you wouldn't need to sacrifice those discs and could save them for an UaS sale later down the road. He may also not realize that you can send WB any DVD, it isn't a 1:1 upgrade. You could get these films from DVD2BLU by giving them a couple Dollar Store discs that have nothing to do with the BDs you'd be getting back.

They claimed they added 150 titles. I don't think there are even 150 titles in total. And one previous poster was right. There are double and triple movie packs that you can get on sale for $10 and $5 if BB upgrade and save is on. They really ought to step up. They have a huge catalogue and some of the titles are real dogs

He probably found it during the time that the triple features were $9.99 and used a $5 coupon on it to get it for $4.99.

Re: $4.95 Blu Rays at DVD2Blu
Have people been getting their orders in separate shipments?
I ordered 8 and have received 4 in 2 shipments so far (3 in one and 1 in the other) within 11 days of sending in my discs. The return address on their mailing labels is about a 25 minute drive from my house, so it is not surprising they've gotten 4 to me so quickly, but maybe it is a stocking issue.
I'm waiting on Contact, Falling Down, The Long Kiss Goodnight, and 10.

I ordered 10 recently. The discs I turned included 3 from the same TV season, 2 digital copies and 2 promotional (Emmy) screeners. My discs arrived very quickly, although one was reshrink-wrapped on top of the original plastic which still had a Best Buy price tag!

There are a few new titles. Was hoping there would be a whole slew of cool new titles but no such luck. IF there are no more U&S through BB this is an easy way to get some $5 titles.

Re: $4.95 Blu Rays at DVD2Blu
If possible, I'd rather not have to re-browse everything or cut & paste and then do a diff on my previous list to see what's now. I haven't ordered from WB Shop for years because (1) it never seems to make it to the top of my priority list, (2) I don't have enough titles I want to hit $35 FS, and (3) the few titles I want keep popping up for $5 here and there so I slowly pick them up. But I'd order if I could actually find $35 worth of BDs I want.
Re. BB U&S, given that they are trimming their media section as if to say "we don't care much about selling older movies any more", it only stands to reason that it's less likely they'll ever do U&S again. I speculated that long ago. As I have a dozen titles ready to trade in, Murphy's Law says it's even less likely to happen. R.I.P. U&S... probably. It's rare for BB not to stop or reduce their cool promos and RZ offers.

If hariseldon couldn't find the 12 new BDs in his comparison, could you tell us which 12 you think are the new ones? Is it possible you didn't compare before and those 12 really aren't new (i.e. "please disperse... nothing to see here")? Thanks.

Good grief, Manzana. Just look over the list of titles yourself if you think you might have interest. You've got 3 different folks checking to see what titles might be new for you, simply because you'd rather not look at the list again.
