Peanuts Holiday Collection (Blu-ray) deal

I picked this off the DVD Bragains side posted by "g":

buy 2 boxes of superpretzel get 5 dollar rebate by mail on Dvd or Blu version of Peanuts holiday collection. 50 cent coupon off superpretzel in sunday paper.
http://superpretzel.com/

http://www.wbshop.com/Peanuts-Holida...,pd.html?cgid=
wbshop.com also has the blu version which I believe also comes with the DVD for 25.46 plus ship if you are a warner insider member which is free to join. Also can use code "SAVINGS" for 20 off 100 at wbshop.com .
"Reward25" coupon may work if not a warner insider member to bring price down to 25.46. Coupon "783A42XP" may yield buy 2 get 1 blu ray on new wbshop.com accounts. If you have an old wbshop.com account it probably wont work. Coupon "XB1010" gives 20 percent off. Coupon "FREESHIP" may lower shipping requirement. Other coupons may be available for wbshop.
Also go through cashbaq.com for 4 percent rebate

I used the "783A42XP" Buy 2 Get 1 blu-ray + discounts for being a Warner Insider member to order "Peanuts Holiday Collection" (Blu-ray), "Se7en" (Blu-ray) and "King Kong 1933" (Blu-ray) for $49.79 delivered. Amazon wants $85.97 for these three.

I can't get it to work either, otherwise I'd definitely do this. I can't get Reward25 to work right now either.

Re: Peanuts Holiday Collection (Blu-ray) deal

You have to have an entirely fresh email account to get it to work. Here is how somebody on blu-ray.com has got it to work. You can actually get two free if you buy 6 items. Instead of using reward25 you should get a warner insider account. http://insiderrewards.warnerbros.com/
Funny how my dvd bargain post of this gets no response. On Blu-ray.com people are saying that the code has worked on and off today.

6. Use code XB1010

Peanuts Holiday Collection
Doctor Zhivago digibook
Seven digibook
Elvis On Tour digibook
North by Northwest digibook
Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
Year Without A Santa Claus

It helps to add items to your cart in specific manner, most expensive items going in first. The system will kick out the "783A42XP" coupon if you have ever used that email address at WBSHOP, even on guest checkout. I assume the best deals will be in multiples of three units, but you can never really tell. Play around with adding items at the end before checkout"

Re: Peanuts Holiday Collection (Blu-ray) deal

I assume the releases in this collection are the exact same as the individual BDs, including no lossless audio for CBC?

Still worth the price, but I wish studios would stop releasing a partially upgraded version of the most popular movie (or television special in this case) in a series and when it sells well, do full (or at least better) upgrades of the others in the series but fail to upgrade the first one. This is why I still haven't purchased the Man With No Name Trilogy on BD.

I followed these steps, and it still didn't work. I can't get it to recognize 783A42XP whatsoever. Ugh.

Me neither. In fact the first 2 were no go. Although I got lower price when signing in first and then adding items and coupons, but the total was still over $100. This was on my iTouch though. Will try on my laptop tonight.

Anyway.....back on to the topic of BD bargains. I take it none of you got all of these coupons to stack anymore?

Re: Peanuts Holiday Collection (Blu-ray) deal

Deal is dead. No coupon stacking whatsoever possible anymore, but alot of people must have ordered the Peanuts boxset.

For anyone who remembers my "fondness" for WBShop (and sotra might): the deal is dead because I just read this thread and became aware of it. :-)

Seriously, though, not once EVER in my life have I gotten in on a WBShop coupon stacking deal because they always die when I find out about them. I only placed one order in my life with WBShop and it was before I even knew about coupon stacking, so I paid too much (fortunately it was only 4 BDs). To me WBShop's deals are like vaporware software products that don't ever materialize. I read these incredible WBShop coupon stacking deals on DVD Talk (it seems like at least once every month or two) and it seems only a select few people get in on them.

So I again reiterate that as soon as my eyeballs start to read the words in any WBShop thread about a good coupon stacking deal, the deal will be dead. The psychic link between my eyes and WBShop's "deals" is too strong... stronger than the Schwarz. :-)

On the upside, at least I didn't waste any time trying to get the deal to work because it was already posted that it was dead.
