There are a lot in that $10 category that I would be in for. Hopefully this is a harbinger of US pricing for these titles as some of them are already available for that price here.

Just a word of warning that these prices were put into effect for Walmart's anniversary sale here in Canada. Once the sale ends prices may go back to normal (if the sale hasn't ended already).

The sale is on for one more week (Sept. 24-30), but most of the stock is very picked over at this point, and was long before the OP posted those lists. The new flyer has listings for the sale DVDs and Blu-rays, but it doesn't appear the stores are getting any new stock.

There are also several $12 and $15 Blu-rays, the latter including LEGION, ZOMBIELAND, BLIND SIDE, BOOK OF ELI (plenty of these available at most stores), 2012 (regular edition) and SHERLOCK HOLMES, among others.

Yes this is what I noticed when I went. None of the lower priced titles were still in store. Some $10 ones were there and the titles you mentioned like Zombieland & 2012 were plentiful.

It doesn't matter when they end you will never see those kind of prices here in the states. Unless its Black Friday but I don't see them have that many at those prices.

Nearly everything drops in price sooner or later. We just had a handful drop sooner, and only because of this anniversary sale, which is their excuse to dump a whole bunch of recent but no-longer-hot titles on the floor. American retailers have far more titles at $10-$15 throughout the year than we do, and your prices in general are far more reasonable than ours considering our currency's nearly at par. I'd bet within the next year, you'll see many of these for the same price over there, and not just for Black Friday.

Agreed. One just has to have patience. I think I have paid more than $10 on maybe 3 BDs out of over 100.

It looks like Walmarts here in canada are putting out a ton of $5, $7 and $10 blu-rays for Canada day. Picked up a bunch today at the Winnipeg McPhillips location, here are just a few I could remember:
