The Twilight Zone Season 1 ~$51 shipped at gohastings.com

The Twilight Zone Season 1 is on sale for $58.27 at gohastings.com. After the 20% off coupon (WIN0910) it came to about $51 shipped for me. Best price I've seen on this so far.

In for one as well. My total was 53.06 which is still 17 bucks less than Amazon. Thanks OP!

Re: The Twilight Zone Season 1 ~$51 shipped at gohastings.com

I tried the code and it didn't appear to work. It says the discount was applied to the order but the price did not change. I guess it expired or I am doing something wrong.

I called customer service and they said in order to use coupon you have to have an existing account and use the same computer you used to set up the existing account. It was an e-mail coupon sent to select customers per the person I spoke with. Since I don't have an account I guess I am out of luck. Here is hoping for better deals as we get closer to Christmas.

Why can't you create one? It's really not that difficult or time consuming.

Re: The Twilight Zone Season 1 ~$51 shipped at gohastings.com

For some reason maybe because I tried to use the code before creating an account, it would not apply the discount to the first account I created. After creating a second account, using a different e-mail address, I got the discount. $48.86 shipped. No sales tax in NY which is really rare these days.
Thanks OP. I will enjoy this. Looking forward to seeing " The Time Element" . This was shown on TV Land several years ago when they used to show rare TV shows in conjunction with the Paley Center (formerly the Museum of Radio and Television) The good old days when TV Land was worth watching.

If you don't check the "we send you email" box, the code won't work. If you go into your account and check the box, the code will magically start working.

Re: The Twilight Zone Season 1 ~$51 shipped at gohastings.com

Grabbed one at $48.85. A seemingly good deal on my favorite series of all time. Who else thinks TZ price is going to drop like a rock, probably < $40 or even $30 by the end of the year? Still, it was worth "risk" to buy now at $48...

I hope we get all 5 seasons on Blu! Otherwise, what's the point in releasing just S1?

Season 2 on Blu will be released on 11/16 and is available for pre-order at many sites. Amazon has it for 56.99.

Having The Time Element (in HD, no less!) is worth the price alone.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes goHastings to process orders? I've never ordered from them before.

Re: The Twilight Zone Season 1 ~$51 shipped at gohastings.com

Well, that didn't last long. Price today is $70.84.

After 20% coupon applied, final price (with tax + shipping) would be around $64.50 at our tax rate. Still around $5.50 less than Amazon.

Having the complete boxed set on DVD made me procrastinate, but I'm pretty happy with the DVD version. Even at the 'bargain' price of $50-55, I got all five seasons on SD for the price of two BD seasons.

Having said that, I'll probably upgrade if the price is right.

Sigh.

Mine shipped yesterday so now the waiting game begins. How long do shipped items usually take to arrive?

In my experience, usually 2-3 days. They are usually quick, that's why I use them alot.

How are they on the shipping packages? Ive ordered toys from them before and they all came in rather beat up boxes. I was wanting to order Doctor Who series 5 on blu as well as Back to the Future but was afraid my orders would get damaged in transit.

I order from them all the time via Amazon Marketplace and have only had 1 problem with a damaged item, which they replaced and let me keep the damaged item.

It took just short of two weeks for my Lost Complete Series to arrive.

This can happen when you ship media mail via the USPS.

Bubble mailers and USPS Media Mail. That's how everything I've ordered from them was received. I've always ordered used but I can't imagine it's any different for new items. I guess I'll find out.
