BB RIP...I did have many good times with the family as we walk through the store looking for something to watch on a Friday/Saturday night (or a night during the summers).

It really bad to know that the blockbuster has been closed , anyone here knows the other stores options where we can rent the movies.

It really bad to know that the Redbox and Netflix are the only options where we can rent the movies now.

Weird. I tried to find a Hollywood Video last week to rent a VHS and now you are telling me it's closed?

There are still Mom & Pop rental places out there but for the most part Redbox is the majority rental destination for physical discs.

Try over on South Mays and Sunrise Dr. I think that one is still open. I don't think they rent laserdiscs anymore though.

It's true that the video rental shop, for the most part, has gone the way of the dodo. But don't overlook your local library, which may offer a decent selection of DVDs totally for free. I'll sometimes grab a title there. And you should be able to request items for pickup.

I have a friend who refuses to own a computer or cellphone. But he goes online at the library and reserves titles there. He gets almost everything he wants to see. I wanted to recommend Borgen to him (terrific Danish political suspense series), and by gosh they had all three seasons available. There may be a wait, but you'll get it eventually.
