An UE just opened up in Salem NH last week, and I stopped in there tonight for the first time. I was surprised to see that they carried used movies, and that all the used blu-rays were 3 for $20. Only a modest selection was available, but I did pick up three titles ('An Education', 'Frozen River' and 'The Counterfeiters').

Other titles included:
'Encounters At the End of the World'
'Rocky Balboa'
'Revolutionary Road'
'Wolverine'
'Hellboy II'
'The Wrestler'
'Ponyo'
'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'
'Julie and Julia'

and dozens more...

Year One = In for 10 copies!

A few decent titles like Run Fatboy Run, Away We Go, Ponyo, The Wrestler and Brothers Bloom. Not a bad deal grabbing three of those for 20 bucks. I'm not as hesitant buying used BDs as I was DVDs as less are far less likely to get scratched. Plus, these even come with BD cases. Too bad there isn't an UE that sells these around me.

The UE in York, PA just opened last week and I don't recall seeing any used Blus, maybe I'll have to go check again today.

Wish there was an UE near me. I could definitely find three in that batch. Encounters at the End of the World would be amazing on blu, even though I already have the dvd.

I actually see 3 PV BDs I'd buy for $20 in that display, and there's a UE across the street from where I live. However, last time I went a week ago for something else, they still had absolutely 0 BDs and 0 DVDs for sale. I hate seeing these deals and knowing mine has nothing. An employee there once claimed they'd be getting some BDs and DVDs again someday, but that was a long time ago and someday stilll hasn't arrived and they have no idea when. :-(

Those two photos only represent a third of their display, and there were multiple titles in each section. Sure, some of those BDs can be found for under $10 brand new, but there still were a lot of good finds as well.

The UE in York, PA didn't have used movies but did have signs up for them. I assumed since they just opened they didn't have everything they will. Not a bad deal on some of the titles though. I wonder if they take trade ins or if its from another source?
