Well it appears I have a charge too, there's going to be hell to pay if they charged me almost a full 3 weeks before I receive it.

Its a authorization charge it will drop off your card it will be pending till its time to ship or pick up or it will drop off your card a few days from now.

The authorization charge took place at time of order, I've never seen a subsequent authorization charge for an order that did not become a final charge. I'm not even sure if the second authorization charge is allowable by MC/VISA merchant agreements, I'll check when I get to work. In any case as to my original follow-up post it looks like the deal will be going thru.

i thought you perhaps hadnt noticed it when it you first placed the order since you said 3 weeks before release. didnt realize that it was actually after your intial authroization charge.

Yeah we got auth charges that have since dropped off. This one is a new one. Not sure why they are authing or charging again right now. Could put some people in the negative if they are using a bank card since they were expecting the charge in about 3 weeks. Didn't happen to me, but it could happen to someone.

I guess thats why even though usually stuff drops off without being recharged till right before shipment, i still factor it into money allready spent, so i dont ever end up going into the negative.

As I said, didn't happen to me. I had the money to cover it. I'm just saying that most people would reasonably expect to be charged days before receiving the item, not weeks.

I received the e-mail confirming my pre-order on July 7th and today I received the e-mail confirming that it has been processed and shipped, but I still have not been charged for it. I've checked my pending transactions, my purchase history and I've gone back and looked at my book numerous times and my account still has not shown the purchase. Just seems weird to me.

Thanks again to Roybg. Picked up the Blu Ray from the store. I actually didn't realize it was for the combo. I thought for some reason it had two separate releases, Blu ray only and the combo. Happy either way, but just a little more happier it was for the combo.

Warner's also smarted up and put the DVD of the movie and digital copy on one disc.
