If someone purchases this in the US, please update this thread and/or PM me and let me know that this was indeed a region A and B encoded blu-ray set. It would be good to know since the description says "region 2", and is probably wrong since that is the DVD designation, and not a blu-ray designation.

I did some research before placing my order a few hours ago and, based on what I read, I'm confident it's A and B.

Amazon.uk appears to mislabel many / most of their Blu titles as R2, but we all know that Blu goes A-B-C, not 1-2-3....

I pulled the trigger. My first UK purchase but that was too good to pass up.

Yeah, an amazing series. And I paid more for my SD set than the asking price for the Blu set.

PS - Complete Blu region info is available here: http://bluray.liesinc.net/index.php (bookmark it). On the Region B tab, you'll see that the UK version of BoB is encoded AB. It will play on US (A) players.

i got this last month same price it plays great i got this fast and furies godfather box set so much cheaper there then canada or usa

I have my brother visiting from the UK next month ad he is bringing the set ove with him because I have yet to actually see this.

Like a couple have sad this will play on your Blu Ray player. I have 'BBC Planet Earth' and 'The Bourne Trilogy' both on blu ray from the UK for about the same price ($28) and they all play just fine. Both shipped here in less than a week.
