Toy Story 3 movie ticket in Toy Story 1/2 blu rays...
Not sure where to put this thread, so it seems this is the best place for it. I bought both of these today due to the upgrade coupons and TRU deal. It says the tickets are inside, but there is nothing there. Am I missing them or am I totally retarded.

Ok, i figured it out. Apparently you have to go on the website to register the code to get it. I'm used to a physical ticket in the thing. Stupid, because they don't mention that anywhere on the packaging or inside the thing.

Deftones is correct. When I entered the code on my Disney Rewards account, a message popped up about the free movie ticket to TS3, and they had even emailed me something about it as well. So, I would assume you need to be a rewards member to get the free tix.

i had the sticker on the front of the slipcases, but it didn't say anything about entering a code. just said see inside the box. inside the box, there was nothing to indicate you had enter the code.

I won't even bother to look at mine, because even though it has it these "Movie Cash" deals are never good at my local AMC Theaters (cheap bastards). I seriously doubt my local IMAX theater will take it either, and I know they'll be showing it there as well.

I thought AMC rejected the paper Hollywood Movie Money version, but accepted the printed-out versions because it's a one-time use Discover credit card number.

I'm kind of glad that these "bank" in your Disney Movie Rewards account ... I know I would wind up losing the codes or the printouts before the movie finally comes out in June. Which brings me to another question -- why didn't Disney hold these until a little closer to the release date? Cashing in on Easter?

Yeah, these Toy Story 3 tickets work like a Discover card. The theater rings it up as a credit card. I don't know about AMC's policy. But since they get the money like any other credit card, I don't see why they wouldn't take it.
When you submit your info for the ticket print-out, you have to select a theater. I would think they already have agreements with the theaters that are listed.

Well that's good to know. I'd prefer to see it at IMAX, but I suppose if they're going to pay for 1/2 the price I might spring for it at a normal 3D theater.

Since you have to use Disney Rewards, are you able to print out two tickets (one with the TS1 code and TS2 code)? I assumed you could, but I thought that since they are using Disney Rewards and can keep track of prints, they would limit to one print per account, even if you entered two codes (though that wouldn't be fair since we purchased both movies, but you never know).

I didn't really notice the sticker on the covers of TS1 and TS2 cases from Amazon. Is Movie Cash in all the Toy Storys from all retailers?

It's not in them, but you can get it no matter where you bought it, as long as you have your Disney Movie Rewards code. Enter it on the website like you'd enter any normal code, and a link to print the coupon will show up.

I haven't but I doubt it would work. You can't get points for the same title twice at DMR, so I doubt they would even accept the second code.

I started redeeming my tickets and it asked me what theater I am going to see the movie at. Does anybody know, if you HAVE to go to the theater that you pick there, or can you go to any theater?

Being that TS3's release is still a ways off, I might wait to see if there's a "double point day" before printing my tickets. Were there any "double point days" in 2009 other than the 2 at the end of the year?
