I'm sure it varies per store.
That never happens when I use coupons, UNLESS it is a Target store coupon. That's the only type of coupon I've ever seen that changes the price of the item on the receipt. Otherwise, coupons are taken off immediately below the item (if it determines what the proper item is, it is wrong sometimes) or at the bottom beneath all of the items purchased. At WM, they are always listed last, beneath all of the purchased items. Those are the only 2 stores I am positive about. I don't use coupons at other stores.

Yup, if you use a Target coupon on an item you will get back what you paid, but if you use a manufacturer's coupon you will get back more than you paid since it is listed as a separate item on your receipt and sometimes not even in conjunction with the right item.

You can always buy it with the coupon then return it without the receipt. You'll get the full $26 (or whatever its on sale fore this week) back in store credit that you can put towards the Toy Story DVDs or something. I will still be like getting $10.00 free in store credit.

I just got back from Target. Tried to use both coupons, didn't work. The cashier was really nice about it though.

Was it the cashier or the computer that would not take both?

Also, could someone post a picture of the Target purse packaged with the movie? I want to see if its worth getting that over the book at Best Buy.

When I gave the cashier 2 coupons she said she had to go and make sure it was okay to use both. She came back and said I could only use 1 coupon per Blu-ray. She was really nice so I didn't push the issue.

The purse is pretty cool. The purple is a little darker than in the picture

Thanks. So we still have yet to have someone scan both.

And I think I'll pass on the purse and go to Best Buy for the book. Don't need my daughter strangling herself with that thing.

Don't the words "Do Not Double" (printed clearly along the top of the coupon) mean that, you know, cashiers aren't allowed to double the coupons?

Or are people just banking on being rung up by stupid, illiterate cashiers?! I don't get it.

(More to the point, I don't see how the store's registers would allow to scan both coupons-- they're practically identical & from the same manufacturer. It's like using a gift card, then asking for it back & trying to use it again.)

I don't get it....they aren't the same coupons. Both coupons take off different amounts and both expire in different dates. Isn't that enough to show them that they are two different coupons?

I believe it means to not double the amount of the coupon. You ever see how grocery stores have "Double Coupon Days", where they give you twice the amount of the coupon off the item(s)?

Yes, they are physically two separate coupons, but my two actually look identical, save for the dollar amount & expiration date. I dunno... it's clear that they come from the same place... which to me means they probably weren't meant to be combined. But whatever. I hope I'm wrong.

If that's the case, my mistake. I don't use coupons that often. But I took the "Do Not Double" to mean "do not double up on coupons." Again, I hope I'm wrong!

If you want to try to use both coupons, you should buy something else to go with the movie. The Target computers are set up to take one manufacturer's coupon per item. If you add a second item(it doesn't matter what it is- I got a Gatorade when I bought MI/Up combo), the computer might take both coupons. Worth a shot.

I got my PATF for only $10.00! The $10.00 off coupon works towards the single Blu-ray as well (listed at $19.99 at Target)! Also got Astro Boy (DVD) for $3.00. The $16.00 off redplum coupon worked for the individual title. I didn't have to buy all four.

I ended up getting it at Target. I didn't really want the purse (would have preferred the book) but my Best Buy has given me nothing but trouble when trying to use these coupons ever since Snow White; granted they used them for Snow White and after a big ordeal they used them for Up and Monsters, Inc., but they flatly refused for Ponyo, whereas Target accepted it no questions asked. So yeah, I just skipped Best Buy and went straight to Target.

I tried as well and it didn't work.

The cashier I had scanned the $10 Off Coupon and then scanned the $5 Off Coupon and it didn't work. He was willing, but the computer would not accept both.

Afterward, I went back and got the regular DVD and used the coupon and paid about 12 bucks after tax; the OCD in me needs to have all the Disney movies on DVD just to keep my collection complete.

You bought the DVD even though the Blu-ray 3 Disc Edition comes with a DVD? Wow, I have to show my wife and she thinks I am crazy....! Hahahaha!

I mean, look at it this way. I have all my Disney DVDs on a shelf, lined up. And now I'm just going to stop getting the DVDs of anything new because they are also released on Blu-ray? The would make the collection incomplete and since there was a coupon making it $12, I figured I might as well.

Anal much?

This is why I line up Blu-rays separately though.

I sell my OOP DVDs before the combo packs come out. With all the coupons Disney gives too, I usually break even or even make money with upgrading.

Has anyone been able to stack the coupons?

I know it's bad, but I'm sure I'm not the only one. I also line my Blu-rays up separately, but just knowing the DVD Collection is incomplete would annoy me.

I'm anal the other way. If I don't have the newest/best version of movies like these, it bothers me. Especially when I can upgrade for real cheap.

Has anyone compared the single disc BD edition vs. the BD combo pack? As long as the BD combo pack does not contain any extras or supplements not found on the single disc BD edition, I'm OK with the single disc BD.

There's a bunch of extras on your 3 disc version that are not on the single one...

* Magic In The Bayou: The Making of A Princess — Co-writers and directors John Musker and Ron Clements take a freewheeling, behind-the-scenes look at the making of Disney's newest animated film as it grows from an initial concept to a lavish animated film set in the enchanting world of New Orleans and the surrounding bayous.
* The Return To Hand Drawn Animation
* The Disney Legacy
* Disney's Newest Princess
* The Princess and the Animator
* Conjuring The Villain
* A Return To The Animated Musical
* Bringing Life to Animation with an introduction by John Musker and Ron Clements
* Deleted scenes introduced by the filmmakers
* Art Galleries — A collection of storyboard art traces the visual development of The Princess and the Frog's rich gallery of characters and settings.

Thanks for the reply. There is at least some inaccuracy in what you posted above because other than "Magic in the Bayou" and "A Return to the Animated Musical", every one of the above features is listed on the back of the single disc edition. Can anyone post a definitive answer if there are any differences in extras? Someone else posted that there weren't.

Wrong. These are all on the single disc BLU. I'm currently looking at the menu with the single disc BLU in the player.
