I'd just like to thank the Colts for blowing that Super Bowl, therefor allowing me to avoid buying this overpriced disc.

My local best buy already had the LOTR Steelcase pre-order out. You get the steelcase now. $5.00 pre-order.

The Double Features were already at $14.99 and vaild thru 4/3/10 (I think).

Double Features $14.99
Dirty Harry/Magnum Force
Grumpy Old Men/Grumpier Old Men
Miss Congeniality/Miss Congeniality

I did not see Analyze This That as one of the options

It's been over a month of mediocre new release prices. Is anyone really that surprised?

Re: Best Buy Weekly Ad: March 7-13, 2010

sucks that they didnt do a pre order for princess and the frog or toy story movies with free steelbooks, since it was reported on one of these sites a while back that disney and bestbuy were going to continue to offer them for the bluray releases of the animated disney films.
can only hope that perhaps they will have a steelbook instore on release date though that seems unlikely now.

in any case i picked up my lord of the rings stickerbook case yesterday

Hey is the old dogs in the ad for 24.99 the combo pack or the single disk bluray? cause if its the single disc that sucks since the 10.00 coupon from disney is for the combo pack.
(not that the stupid thing is even printing for me now, like ponyo this week, so i will have to print it at work)

I'll bet Canada (Future Shop) gets steelbooks for P&F and Toy Story(s), which many months later, will show up in the US, as happened with a slew of titles in January.

I asked this same question to the original poster of the ad prices over at blu-ray.com, but never got a response....
However, if you go to Best Buy's website, both the single disc and combo pack are both priced at $24.99, so I'd be willing to bet you can use that coupon there with it at that price (if you can ever get it to print I guess).....

Re: Best Buy Weekly Ad: March 7-13, 2010

I hit 2 Best Buys today, one had no LOTR steelbooks, just a notice hanging there on the empty endcap for them that some stores did not even get their minimum of 3 and there will be no rain checks. The other Best Buy had 5 cases left, 4 of which had their spines sliced from cutting open the case. Idiots.

No. It's a sticker over a steelbook case. Very cheap.
