Yuck. A bunch of films I wouldn't bother with if they were $9.99.

Jesus....how much more can they charge for them? Also...The Fall has to go down at some point. It's been at that price for too long.

I Know What You Did Last Summer and The Craft are the only two I'm even mildly interested in.

Can't I just have Mirrormask at 33% off of their regular price?

More "SALES" like this and you can start planning your Sunday visits to the dead format cemetery.

Re: Amazon B2G1 Sale

Most of these were $9.99 last week. WOuld have been a better deal at - 3 for $30, instead of 3 for $40-ish.

I'd like Monty Python's Life Of Brian - The Immaculate Edition [Blu-ray] (1979), but not for the $20 they are asking. Maybe $5.

I'd pay $10 for it... That's the only title on the list I'd have interest in...

Re: Amazon B2G1 Sale

Right now at gohastings.com you can buy the SD edition of A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT used for 89 cents plus 30% off of that. Or you can buy the Blu-Ray during this "sale" for $27.99. Which do you think the average DVD collector is going to buy?

The folks at the studio who determine what movies are going to be released in Blu-Ray and at what price point are dooming the format to failure. I only bought a Blu player because my SD bit the dust, it was a very good price and has excellent upconversion. So far I only have a few Blu titles and given the focus on primarily recent films, I won't be too involved in collecting. But to see how boneheaded all of this has been from the very beginning, with one imbecilic move after another and the continually pervasive image of studios alienating consumers rather than attracting them, I have little optimism of it ever becoming mainstream.

I really want The Thirteenth Floor but I don't think I can swing these prices.

Re: Amazon B2G1 Sale

I already own or have seen the couple I find remortely interesting. Since the beginning of BR Amazon jacks the prices on these B2G1 and limits the selection
