Walmart Weekly Ad 1/3/10 - 1/9/10

$12.00 Blu-rays:
  • Live Free or Die Hard
  • Eragon
  • Mr. & Mrs. Smith
  • The Day After Tomorrow
  • Independence Day
  • X-Men

There maybe others. The ad says "selected titles" but the above were in the picture of the ad.

**thanks to canative454 at Blu-ray.com**
======================

Also... csabatini at CAG spotted the following Blu-ray prices at his local Walmart. Please note: These may be YMMV as they were only at one Walmart.

$14.96
  • Casino Royale CE
$13
  • The 5th Element
  • Men in Black
  • The Patriot
  • Resident Evil
  • Resident Evil Apocalypse
  • XXX
  • Juno
  • The Passion of the Christ

Also worth noting, there are $3 MF coupons in the following thread, sweetening the deal to $9 each for Mr/Mrs Smith, ID4, TDAT.

Sounds like I got an excuse to get some Arby's and finally grab X-Men and (if it's on sale) X2.

Are you talking about Pirates of the Caribbean or Passion of the Christ? I don't see Pirates 1 on sale anywhere in the OP's post. Am I missing something?

Sorry, I was talking about Pirates. There had been some speculation as to the Pirates movies being on-sale, but they aren't.

Picked up The Patriot for $13 today though.

Re: Walmart Weekly Ad 1/3/10 - 1/9/10

Found a standalone setup at my Walmart last night ... and it was fully stocked with $12 movies:

Hitman
Princess Bride
The Happening
Babylon A.D.
Man on Fire
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
X-Men (1)
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Jumper
Cast Away

There were more, but I cannot remember them all.

Picked up:
Hitman (with $3 coupon), Princess Bride, Babylon A.D., Mr/Mrs Smith and Man on Fire. I wish they could have applied the $3 off coupon to all 3 (Hitman, M/M Smith and Man on Fire), but no go.

What is the difference between the rated and unrated Mr. and Mrs. Smith?

Wow, I just came from Wal-mart and didn't even think about these Blu-rays (and I've been checking in on this thread for several days). I guess that shows much I really needed any of these titles.

Re: Walmart Weekly Ad 1/3/10 - 1/9/10

Walked out the door with:

Man on Fire
The Day After Tomorrow
Mr & Mrs Smith

All for $15 + tax. (due to a scanning/coupon error on the checkers part).

Thanks, and I'm assuming the blu-ray is the PG-13 version?

Re: Walmart Weekly Ad 1/3/10 - 1/9/10

I picked up Man on Fire BD for $12...but I also saw The Wrestler BD for $12, which I don't think has been mentioned here thus far. I thought about getting it too, but I already have the DVD and it's bad enough I'm "double dipping" as it is by getting Man on Fire )

Link didn't work to the coupon. Does anyone have another source for this one?
